Holy crap....I can't believe the Tumbler is actually selling out. I don't think I can afford it but I'm wondering if I should order and risk the cancellation fee.

Actually, BBTS did that as well with the HT Batman and Joker figures. I was watching the inventory levels for a while, and they shot up by 25 in a short period of time once. And they STILL haven't sold out of the preorders even though several weeks ago it looked like they were going to sell out soon, given how fast they were going down. So that certainly does happen sometimes. But then again, sometimes if you don't order you just lose out, like with some of the Predator figures.

I don't collect dolls, but where can I order Hot Toys' Batman busts?

The thing is that at times prices go up on secondary offers..

I highly doubt the Pod will have the capability of moving sideways. These toys are for display purposes soley. The wheels rotate, that's about it, as a display piece it doesn't even need to do that, and it has some lights. Really it's whoopee do.

The plastic will be light weight, though sturdy, and it having thin delicate parts, wont stand up to much play. It is nice that it is detailed an accurate, but I still think these are overpriced. It's not as if Hot Toys openly has their edition sizes listed in their product descriptions, so as collectors, we have no way of knowing how urgent it is to purchase their items. They rely on pre-order scrambling, non disclosure and hype.

They are toted as being the kings of 1/6th, but their quality control isn't as good as it appears. It is marvelous that they put these things together, but they don't seem to research what problems are likely to be encountered by their customers and rectify them before they go into production. I'm not saying they're not cool, just that they aren't hot, like their prices are.

Hey Creecher are you get either the Pod or Tumbler? I'm hoping ABC Express gets them... Either way I'll have to get these for a HK based seller! Recommend any?

Im watching "Goodshipped" on Ebay.$370.00 and $100.00 shipping.Lowest i ve seen so far.
Les Walker got his Predator 2 through them. What was your experience Les?

Well i've pre-orderered Ironman from goodshipped. Previously bought a Medi ROTJ Vader from him and it got to me in Blighty within a week! Spot on but his prices are steeper than abcexpress

You do know Sideshow will be distrubting the Iron Man figures right?

I plan to buy a full set of whatever through Sideshow but I DO plan on getting at least one additional Mark 03 from an overseas or Toys2. I planned on getting two anyway and that way I'll have one sooner than later. :D

ABC is the one I use, but with their name being thrown about so much, you have to be quicker and quicker to get your order in. So keep it quiet people. :lol

I'll be checking out as many as possible before I put in an order. Cheapest speaks louder to me than anything with these items.

Someone said they smelled a scam about ten pages ago, when I read it this morning. That was no purposeful scam. That was an on line vendor using creative marketing. It might have been 'Good Shipped'. I have bought from them as well. I think most of these guys have been around for a long time and are reliable. Things can go wrong with anyone, anytime, and headaches are a hassle, particularly with language barriers. The higher payments mean higher risk loss, take out insurance and be prepared for a tumble. Ho ho ho.

Just do the usual, check their rating, see what negatives and neutrals are for, then hit the button, and sweat it out.

Yes I would love to have them, and figures look good with insane accessories/diorama add ons, but I'm not letting the hype get to me. I want a Fist of Fury Bruce first, so priorities is my master. Takara Indy, Enterbay Jackie Chan. Who cares about Batman. :lol. Might push for the Pod. :D

LOL!
I hear what your saying Creech, cheaper does sound nicer to me too...however whats yours views on the big difference in price between, say toys2 (Tumbler - £330.00 shipped to England) and goodshipped (£250.00 shipped) Thats a big difference in price. Makes me wary of the ebay sellers to a degree...
True I think I'll be waiting for abc express too

Thank you for your opinions my freinds.Went ahead and bought it anyway!Thats a nice large box for christmas:D

TDK-Tumbler-Batpod and new suit-pics and full spec

Well it's taken some time. As these aren't 'oficially' being released in the US and Europe I had to work a little to get hold of these, my usual sources couldn't let me have them, but like the Joker and 1st Batsuit specs, I have my ways!

Enjoy!
