Hey Joe - I'm interested in a Pod and Tumbler as well...can you help me out?
Yeah, you gotta help out Captain Toy
Would be nice if the cheap little RC version could do that!
I'm also glad we have Joe to bring it to us for a less than ridiculous price. If it wasn't for him, I probably wouldn't be able to get it.
Wich store does Joe belong to exactly? Any benefits when one is situated in Europe?
Not really sure. He is US based, so I would think shipping outside the US might not make it the best deal for non-US people.
I don't collect dolls, but where can I order Hot Toys' Batman busts?
that is a good price especially shipping to Norway!!I will pre order from ABC on ebay, they have the Pod for 215$ and shipping express is 80$,total under 300$ for it,not bad for a overseas costumer.
I wish they'd done this like a year and a half ago when so many things I like weren't being made, I'd snatch the Tumbler up in an instant, but there's so much being made now that I like, and so much undoubtedly on the horizon, I just can't bring myself to push other things aside for this, but my inner child is going nuts at the notion of it, seeing that cockpit shot reminds me of playing with my Batman figures and Batmobiles as a kid and I'd love going through that nostalgia seeing the same thing with my adult collectibles.
You know, I think the Batpod is going to be a visually underwhelming vehicle in TDK. None of the trailer clips have given any indication we'll get the kind of look at it like the HT pod will. I'm loving the visual design of it every new shot of the HT pod we see, but I think we won't see that on screen. I wasn't a fan when the first screen shots came out, but seeing it in clear light and all the detail, it's a nice looking ride. The use of the Batpod should be awesome in TDK, I just think we won't have moments to see all the elements in it and drool over it on the big screen, just on our shelves.
