Modifying the shirt (cut it open in the back) would be a lot less risky though IMO.
If you screw it up, you ruined a 150 dollar figure.
Who done that last time... I thought it looked tacky, just knowing it's been snipped and it being so easy to fray would bug me if I done that. Plus then you can no longer do side shot or behind photos.
