Ivan looks awesome,creed while not bad doesn't look too much like weathers although it's understandable if he wouldn't let his likeness be used.

Looks like Weathers too me, just needing a repaint, like any HT head without rights to do that likeness, sculpt right, paint bad.

Ivan is the must to me because Rocky is based on Rocky IV so Ivan would be the right opponent for that film (though you can get away with putting him with clubber) and Creed for me is just cuz what's Rocky without Appollo, and it could be some time before we see a Rocky and Appollo based on their fight together.

Once HT releases a rocky 1 or 2 or street version or all. then we got a massive sellout problem IMO.

Sorry Seth, That's Weathers for sure... Look past the paint. See the cheeks, especially under the eye area and lips... Definate need of a repaint! I can't wait to get these 4 figures. I'll be decking 'em all in their pre-figure grabs and Rocky with the Flag & Belt! WhooWoo Baby!

Yeah, looks like what they did with Ripley. The Sigourney likeness was there and a repaint brings it out. Same with Creed.

I don't see it,I don't think ya should need a repaint to see the actor.(unless they just did it cause of the whole weathers likeness issue)Looks like a generic black guy to me..Ivan on the other hand i think looks real good.

It's an HT trick, like Dave pointed out. When they don't have right to use a likeness, apparently through whatever law they're bound to, they can get away with sculpt likeness by painting the portrait so horribly off from the likeness, which repaints of Ripley and Drake from the Aliens line will reveal.

Was creeds fro a bit bigger in rocky 4 as well or maybe i'm thinkin of 1&2?(just a bit thicker?looks more like the first predator weathers to me)

It was actually really short and tight to his head in Rocky IV, even more so than Predator actually.

I saw these guys in hong kong last week and man oh man they are great . Drago is just one imposing looking massive wall of muscle and looks really good ! would eb the one from this series that makes me buckle and get it !

I sure hope that turns out to be the case with Creed, too, 'cause I really need him for Dillon!

Yeah, I see what you mean. Hair's a tad big, but that certainly ought to work for Dillon all right.

I agree that Carl Weathers's likeness is in there somewhere. It's the same thing with the liknesses on some of the ALIENS marines, like Drake, Vasquez, and Ripley. Hot Toys "hides" their likenesses under the wrong paint job. With a new paint job you should be able to bring out the likenesses like I did when I repainted some on Drake, Vasquez and Ripley. I will definitely get all of the Rocky Hot Toys figures! I think I'm gonna get Rocky first, and then Clubber Lang, since they're in the first assortment. I know that Apollo Creed and Ivan Drago are in the 2nd assortment. Maybe in the next assortment HT will make a "Thunderlips" aka Hulk Hogan from Rocky III, Mick the trainer (I'd love to see them make a Mick!), and Adrian, or Tommy "The Machine" Gunn from Rocky V. I guess we'll see....
