Just got home and there was a message from my bank security. Apparently my visa was charged a pre-auth for the full amount which is more than I have available at the moment. I tried to explain that it should only be a pre-auth for purchase that won't be charged until June so they said it would probably drop off in a few days. I hope that's the case otherwise my purchase will be declined.

I guess they place a temporary hold on funds for cc pre-authorization for the full amount, then deduct a deposit from it...

My paypal payment with my amex card was declined by the vendor and my backup source, (bank account) was charged in my paypal transaction records. I called paypal to see what happened and they said Amex card was not accepted by the vendor, that's why my backup bank account source kicked in. That's what paypal said and i have tons of credit on my amex so it wasn't the card limit... anyway that's what happened to me, thankfully the transaction was refunded and I re pre-ordered with visa...

That's pretty strange, but I have yet to have a problem with them accepting mine. I dont know..? Maybe it was just a system hiccup?

I mainly use my AMEX for just about everything unless there is no way to use it since I get flyer miles with it.

The only thing that bugs me is that Medi boba and drago come in june and i hope i don't gotta choose cause I NEED both.

Thats frickin hard man..real hard.But i think i'd have to get boba just as i think it will be a lot harder to find for a decent price later on than drago.(plus that figure looks insane)But i hope it don't come down to that for me.(spidermans **** should be around for a bit to grab later but more MUSTS for sure)

Seth I'd say your safer with Boba too because I'm sure Appollo will catch more people than Drago being offered at the same time, I'm sure Drago is popular but for people on a budget, I would think Appollo would be the first choice of the two, plus some will still be looking for Rocky and not want Drago without him, where Boba Fett is a standalone kickass piece.

I dunno i think drago is the sleeper(cult fave if you will)But both are incredible choices.Yeah boba is gonna be on the hard to find side for a reasonable price i think.

I haven't had much experience with proto to production Medicom, but they seem to have little variation and if that's the case with Boba, he's probably going to become the best 1/6 scale Star Wars figure around.

I know people that have never owned a medicom figure are gonna be quite surprised.(he probably looks pretty much like how he does now and if thats the case thats FINE!) MEDI'S colors seems to change mostly from protos thats about it.(and thats mostly with the superheros)

It's really a shame that Appollo's fig doesn't look at all like Carl Weathers. As for Ivan, he looks great! "I must break you"

Yeah me2.I think it was mostly the eyes on sly they fixed his eyes are distinct.

The Ivan Drago looks great, Apollo on the other hand could be better. I didn't buy the first two releases, so I doubt I'll be getting these. I can't own any Rocky figure before a Mr. T.
