No they did some ridiculous training and used body paint to simulate extra tone
So all-natural huh?! Yeah, I know they did some ridiculous training there. In fact, I tried them and it's crazy but really works.

Just a thought:
Do you guys think they use (actors in 300) some juice in order to prepare for the role?...
don't under estimate the painting effect though
Om nom nom I adore this piece sooo much.
I haven't posed him since I first got him but every day it still manages to impress
Leonidas are one of the top 5 best figure made by HT imo. Leo and Blade are next on my must buy list... Is approx. 400 british pounds a good price for each figure? Does someone know where to find these figures at a reasonable price?
I'd exercise some patience and keep an eye on the commerce section of this forum. Lack of patience cost me a bit of cash when I ebayed Mr Bean and OC Bats, only for both of them to be offered cheaper by SSF members not long after that. 400 pounds is not a great price, but does sound about par, so I'd call it an ok price.
I was in the same boat a few months ago, and the lowest I saw was $350.00 USD. I almost purchased this guy but decided to hold out after hot toys began re-issuing figures. In light of hot toys new strategy of re-issuing I will never pay significantly higher than retail again. Thanks for the help my friend. I'll take your advice and wait and see if a better price comes up here on the forum or somewhere else. I have the cash but I don't like the idea of paying 400 pounds for something that was originally like 150-180.

^^ Except if there's one figure unlikely to ever get a re-release it's King Leo. But who knows, it will be a sure money winner for them so it can't be absolutely ruled out.
I would certainly not like the idea of paying 400 pounds for something that was originally 150 and then see it being re-released for 150 again.
It sucks, this has already happened to me once and almost happened to me a second time, but the second time around I sold my figure as soon as a re-issue was hinted and made most of my money back. I have since sold every figure that I paid a ridiculous price over retail for and I refuse to ever do it again. Hot toys re-issuing is a huge game changer especially for a hobby as expensive as this one.
