These are not LIM's boots, ours are accurate to the game down to the patterns on the sole.
You can't see the soles in the image. They look the same but yes they are wrong though Mike tends to repaint certain areas of gear like the boots. Here it looks like he repainted them darker which isn't accurate to Nate's boots in game. Though you're not wrong Lim did a great job with the boots. That was always my biggest issue when making a custom U4 Nate is the lack of accurate boots ever made.

I can tell by the way the laces are sculpted and thickness of the soles that those are not the boots that come with LIM. I think @Mr.E Is bang on with his guess that they belong to Eleven's Logan but it looks like they were repainted.

Since those Logan sets' release several years ago, those boots have been used at least a few times for other figure sets including a Hannibal Lecter, amongst others. Random tidbit of useless information...

Yeah that's exactly what they are. Not a bad option but thankfully Lim did a great job and finally some accurate boots.

On the topic of Nate's height, yes he is that tall and his legs are also that long in the game, he is a very tall man in Uncharted 4 compared to the other games, and also really big, hence the need for a new body. I think a lot of people think the figure is taller than it should be because in the game he is always leaning forward with his legs bent. If people replicate this pose he would look more like he does in the game. It's funny how we tried very hard to replicate his height from the game and people think it's wrong but the OneToys Kratos for example is much bigger than he is meant to be (Nate is 6,2 and 2018 Kratos is 6,4) but people think that heigh is accurate, it just goes to show how people have an established idea of how a character looks like in their mind which rarely matches the actual game model. The same can be said for clothes and colors, but I understand those since everyone has different color grading in their TVs/Monitors and it's hard to scale down clothing to 1/6 scale while still having to make it functional and in scale. Especially Nate's henley which is meant to be tight so his physique needs to be perfect and his arms need to be switched out without hassle so we couldn't make the sleeves long or it would be impossible to switch them. We also improved the collar as much as we could on the final product and made sure the seam lines on the sleeves did not interfere with his body shape.

Perception of height is contextual and is exacerbated by visual media often intentionally cheating heights. Nate doesn't really feel that tall because his entire supporting cast is just as tall or taller. He frequently shares the screen with Sully and Sam, who are both taller than him, and the shortest villain is probably Rafe, and even he's 5'10. Other characters like U2's Flynn clear 6'4. I think there's an argument that Nate is meant to be pretty average in height, he's just mocapped by a guy who isn't. Whereas I think the opposite is true for Kratos. I don't think Kratos was scaled down for the reboot for actual artistic or realism reasons, I think it's just because they cast a guy to mocap him who is 6'3. I think Kratos is still meant to be bigger. Like, in a universe where these two characters crossed paths in the same game, I don't think we'd wind up with a Nate who is only two inches shorter than Kratos, you know?

I still appreciate the effort to be as close to the game model as possible, though. It's the right approach to use the objective numbers than to get into subjective arguments about intent.
