I just LOVED this figure, loved the new outfit...

For me, is WAY better that the original and the producers were courage enough to say "This is not Sam Raimi´s Spider Man. There is not a stupid Tobey Maguire Peter Parker. This is the real deal!"

Also, always prefer Gwen over Mary Whore Jane

I'd say 2 home runs. i'm not interested in Widow in slightest, but looks brillaint, Spidey looks excellent, Eyes are accurate to the films, but not the posters

They aren't accurate to the real life suit which is all that matters. Hands and neck look goofy too.

And they lied about Widow's hair being sculpted this time. Regardless of if it looks passable now, it surely won't after sitting in packaging for weeks, its styling product, no differant then when you put gel in your hair and goto sleep, when you wake up 8 hours later the part of your hair that was on the pillow is matted and messed up. They wrap the heads in that little piece of clear plastic that mattes the hair against the sculpt, so your getting hair product mashed and melted into a hand painted head and have to redo the hair anyway.

Get a $200 custom head paint from Silent Surfer and rub hair gel all over it. Sound insane? Same situation exactly.

Thanks for the effort but a photoshopped poster at a high angle isn't half as helpful as a straight on, untouched photo.

There's nothing else to go by really, almost all the press photos and screen caps are Spidey in action. It gives you a fair idea of the proportions of the body anyway.

What is wrong with Black Widow? I had no desire to own the character but after I saw the figure I am second guessing...I thought they knocked her out of the park

Not sure about this one...hope it looks better when I get to SDCC.

I initially passed on the R&R Spidey due to the original proto pics, so I hope HTs does some tweaking and it gets a little better...or that pic is just not that great.

I think the yellow lenses look fine. It's actually a realistic touch to help him see at night. Sort of like those night driving glasses with the yellow tint. Don' t think night vision is one of the powers spidey acquired. just my 2 cents.

Hmm I normally hate light up features as they're only useful for photos since you can't leave them on. But... after seeing some video teasers/clips, what do you all think about a light feature for his web shooters? I think I could easily live without them, but after seeing them in action... wowzers!

Given how small the lights are and how briefly they flash, I wouldn't think that they would add enough to justify the cost.
