There's a seam near the base of the neck.

I never thought about it, but seeing as it "looks" like it's separate maybe it is and it comes with two neck pieces.

Ah, i thought that was just a sewing line. I don't see how that area could disconnect and reconnect though, unless the suit and neck post are two fabric rather than connected

It's strange that they show the pic that normally has everything in the set, but no Garfield portrait. I'd think they'd have it and maybe black it out if it's not approved yet. Can anyone read what it says over the teaser pic that shows the bottom of Garfield's face?

Oh hell yes! I'm not sure if I'll like the movie but this figure just looks perfect, this is what i'm talking about, so glad I didn't get the red and blue spidey from the Spider man 3 line.

Dunno why people say that... that they're glad they didn't get the previous/other version... Hot Toys are easy to sell. The Tobey Spidey is already selling above retail today.

I must say, while I don't like the design of the suit or how it looks Hot Toys has done a great job translating that into a 1/6 figure. The suit may look like ass but the figure looks really well done.

I'm looking forward to seeing the Peter Parker headsculpt. If it's as good as the Maguire/Symbiote one then collectors should be in for a real treat.

Well now I am having second thoughts. In the pic above (post 1584) you can see the suit go all the way up the neck; just like the last Spiderman editions. For some reason it looked like you could replace it with a TT neck to me at first My old eyes playing tricks I guess.

It looks so....gross. I'm not sure how else to describe it, but the colors just look so unappealing and it has such a toyish feel to it. The movie is really colorful so it probably looks a lot more natural on the big screen.

Well yes, all the avengers I have no problem skipping ..I'd like a new Ironman but I will wait for the inevitable MarkIII re-re-release and be done with that character, I sold my batman dx02 knowing they would re-release him with rises and this will be the last time we will see Nolans bats on screen so this will be there last Bale batman, people can joke about them doing a batman 3.0 but I'm sure this will be there last 1/6 figure of the character. Joker I already have Katos gear but I don't like the new sculpt(s)..I will more then likely pick up some of his accessories and get a sculpt for him again when there is one I like.

Like I said there will be a few more spidey movies so why buy the character straight away? .it will only end up a repeat of me selling something to buy the new one(batman) ..with Ironman you can at least display them all together because Tony does that himself in the movie.


..also I'm trying to cut down on buying and it's easier to pass on figures with this line of thinking.

regardless if the movie is cool or sucky, i'm getting this awesome piece. it's like having dx02 and dx09. Now if HT announces a nicholas hammond spidey and an adam west batusi, i'll be in heaven. i dig evolution/variants displays.

I actually want to get this and while not trying to pass too much judgment by these pics, I'm not really liking what I'm seeing right now. My mind most likely will change but these are just my firs thoughts with these pics.
