The Spiderman 3 version to me is a more iconic one..it resembles the comics and cartoons for me personally growing up..this thing...I dont know..maybe after I see the movie I might want it more..but right now I dont have much interest.
Well, I hate to nit pick as well but...
One HUGE and glaring problem with this Spidey is that it is not in my hands!
I'm sorry, but nothing is more disappointing to me than when a great HT figure is coming and I don't have it yet. Come on HT, don't you get that I should have this first before anybody?? (Jeez, can't believe they missed that!)
Oh, and this version of Spidey should literally be able to shoot webbing or I'm out

Yea sure since the movie isn't out yet and tobeys spidey was so damn bulky compared to this. Yea the suit looks better in the old movies but that's not saying much.

Why is that not saying much? The Tobey suit was a great suit in the films..it kept the classic look with more modern materials..but still classic. For a film I thought it was perfect. The main reason I am sure this one is so different is because they are rebooting the franchise and do not want to show similarities (thus the story behind his powers also). Only problem is that I thought they nailed the suit the first time..and straying too far could possibly fail. We shall see.

The feet need to be able to bend to get classic Spiderman poses! That's why I didn't but the Toby SM, if this has bendable feet I am in. Not liking the eyes thou.

i'm really confused as to when people started thinking the previous trilogy was crap. maybe i'm losing my mind, but i was sure it was massively well received before the 3rd movie came out (with people generally applauding tobey as spidey) i must have slipped into a coma during the raimi spidey riots of 2008.

Yeah I enjoyed the Spidey films, thought Tobey was fine. 3rd one wasn't great but I still bought it despite being grunted at by my mates!
I just hope the new one doesn't flop, a decent film would be fine so we can get more and hopefully the character progresses nicely and we seem some good villains.
