Hot Toys Announce Batman Returns License

Maybe its just wishfull thinking, but given Hot Toys has always followed a DX Joker release with a DX Batman release, I really do think the DX15 will be the Batman Returns Batman, with the Michael Keaton head sculpt people have been wanting.

I hope you are right. I'm getting a little nervous about ever getting a Keaton Batman.

I doubt they'd release three very different figures back to back to back, especially if all three are DX. That would be unheard of.


My guess would be Returns Batman first (and maybe a 1/4 counterpart like the TDKR line), then the other two later.

Doubt HT will tease a Burton Catwoman until they sell their Nolan Catwoman.

So maybe this Xmas will see Penguin and Catwoman.

Not another Jack Joker for another year at least.

And they are not "very different," they are the three main characters from the film.

Joker (and the Batmobile) were shown almost two months before Batman though.

And even then, that was two, not three.


Still, stranger things have occurred with Hot Toys. Saying all this, they could release all three tomorrow morning.

The specs/pics preorders for the two of them did pop up simultaneously though, you're right there.

I think that's the first time and only time a release has been put up back to back. I remember it was crazy jumping threads to discuss as much as I could about one, then going into the other thread to talk about the other.
