If anyone is interested, WGP have Selyna, Penguin and a Skull...

And Bob, Viki Vale, Alfred and Max in Backstage...

It would be a real slap in the face if we see those little plastic stands with Returns characters at SDCC saying "Coming Soon"!!!

Of course I'd like to see a fully done Returns Keaton, Catwoman, and Penguin but I'll accept pictures of all three with little "Coming Soon" tags as at least confirmation that they ARE coming.

:exactly: At this stage I will take whatever i can get. Just seeing the actual figures would be some comfort. Same with the Arkham City figs.

Come SDCC and the lack of announcements regarding the Returns line, this thread is going to be pretty dire.

We have been waiting long enough. "Coming soon" stands at SDCC is not good enough. With sequel Marvel pictures in the horizon this might be the "calm before the storm" period to get it done.

I have a feeling we'll all be pleasantly surprised come time SDCC. It's probably just wishful thinking, but I think there's a good chance we'll see some Returns goodness in the coming weeks.

Remember how crazy and left field it was seeing these two at SDCC 2011?

Nobody expected that, no one. They both just appeared out of thin air. Now look, we have one of them in hand and the other one is just days/weeks away from shipping.

Surely they'd have something to show, other than this,

I'm thinking the 66 stuff might be what they're planning for SDCC, but I'd love it if you were right. How cool would it be if they had Returns, 66, and Arkham in the same display case?

The only positive for making me wait so long is that I have something to look forward too. Once these are released there is only Rocky (Street cloth) that I would be interested in. I am a old school collector and tend not to purchase items from recent movies. Like I have said before characters have to "marinate" in pop culture for sometime before I am interested.

^ Like Berzerker and Tracker Predator? :lol

But yeah, I know where you're coming from. A discussion came up like this before and it was only then that I realized all my figures are from the 30's, 70's and 80's and early 90's aside from the 5 Nolan figures I have. Its funny because as far as characters go I'm more of a Marvel fan but I don't own one Marvel movie figure and don't plan to. The Avengers are neat looking figures and they'll make a neat display when all together but they don't do anything for me. So I guess my collecting habits rely heavily on nostalgia. After I get whatever ill get from the Returns figures I'm going to focus mostly on Star Wars.

Berserker was my very first HT's figure. I had some extra money and thought it would be my chance to own a "Predator" figure. The T-600 was my second. Again a chance to own a "Terminator" figure.
Tracker I bought for a $100 brand new. Who is going to complain about that price!!!

Worst case scenario, they cancelled the line/license and we never hear anything about it ever again. No teasers, no reveals, no Batman, no Penguin, no Catwoman, no 1/6 or 1/4 or whatever they planned.

I could live with that. Money saved. My line of thinking would be, "hey, atleast I still have the '89 Batman, the Joker and the Batmobile".

I find it hard to believe they wouldn't atleast put out a Returns Armor Batman with a Keaton Bruce Wayne headsculpt, especially around the time of the '89/Returns Batmobile upon us (and SOLD OUT DX 09s) but nothing Hot Toys does makes sense.

After that "coming in December 2012" came and went and we're now in July, it wouldn't surprise me if it got "Green Lanterned", or "First Classed" or "Prometheused". When I think about it, they still have a lot of things that they've announced/planned that have yet to be shown. There's no rhyme or reason to what they do, you just wait and hope for the best (and have your money ready). Look at Robocop, those were announced waaaaaay back when and they just popped up recently without warning. One would think that they'd wait to show them closer to the reboot/remake, but that would make too much sense.
