Worst case scenario, they cancelled the line/license and we never hear anything about it ever again. No teasers, no reveals, no Batman, no Penguin, no Catwoman, no 1/6 or 1/4 or whatever they planned.

I could live with that. Money saved. My line of thinking would be, "hey, atleast I still have the '89 Batman, the Joker and the Batmobile".

But doesn't the HT Batmobile have Returns specific stuff on it?

The Batmobile is a mash-up of features from both movies, but overall has the aesthetic design elements of the '89.

Yeah, it has everything from Returns but the pod/missile transformation (which would be impossible to include). It has '89 stuff (matte finish, machine guns) too and is under the '89 license line.

The RETURNS car also has windshield wipers and slightly different wheels and side intakes. The HT car has the orginal intakes & wheels and no wipers. It is most definitely based on the '89, it just includes gadgets and features seen in RETURNS.

Yeah, that's right. The windshield wipers for the snow.

Exactly. It's hard to imagine all those gadgets being in place without the right figures to follow them up.

Well now that we have 60s teaser pics i guess return is on the back burner...

Meh. Teasers schmeasers, they mean nothing.

What's disturbing, as evidenced by the teaser, is that even 60s Batman has some prototype figures now.

Meanwhile, the Batman Returns teaser from forever ago has....a promo poster. :(
