Yeah, they photoshopped it with their layout and added a trademark.
The actual image is from someone on deskdeco blogs who altered the poster to make a desktop background.
Ok, 3 new figures as DiFabio says.
3 figures at least. Maybe more if theres different versions of the same 3 that they can release.
One per character is enough for me.

How is HT taking the one sheet art and adding their text different from HT (allegedly) taking the deskdeco blog art and adding their text? And that's another thing, how do we know HT didn't Photoshop the penguins out on their own?
I'm not trying to be an a-hole - that's not my M.O. - I'm just really not understanding this.

I'm not even quite sure what you were asking?
- Hot Toys took an image from google
- The image was from deskoblog art (they photoshopped the poster by making it darker (notice the silhouettes aren't as prominent) and they raised the title towards Penguin a bit more (because it was a desktop background)
- Hot Toys took it and photoshopped their layout on top of it
That's it really. No biggie.

This is what I'm thinking... cause I actually own that poster in my room...
Maybe DiFabio means they altered THAT poster to make a wallpaper... and HT took the wallpaper to make their ad...? Cause maybe I misunderstood but it sounded like he was saying they took Batman, Catwoman, and Penguin from 3 different posters and mashed them into one... which isn't true.
This is excellent news. I was really hoping for a Devito Penguin so that looks like its going to happen now. I hope they give him the full mayor outfit (with poster monocle) in addition to his onesie. But I hope we get Catwoman too. And Batman better have a BD reveal face this time!
I have to wonder if HT will go after Batman Forever next and eventually Batman and Robin. As much as those movies sucked, nipples aside, the costumes weren't that bad and would probably make for awesome figures. That DX Mr. Freeze thread might actually happen now!

Ah. Gotcha. If I'm not mistaken (and I don't believe I am), it seems that MaulFan and I both misread your initial post as you saying that HT was responsible for putting those three characters together in that particular arrangement. Hence his...
...It's making a little more sense now.

I was wondering if The Penguin was going to cost the least because he is the shortest... and then my sister reminded me what he lacks in height he makes up in width...
