Um can they just tell us how much the damn 1/6 scale batmobile will be...:impatient:

No, the DX logo isn't on the announcement graphic unless a DX figure is coming, but in this instance, it has both Movie Masterpiece and DX, but then again, the 89 teaser only had Movie Masterpiece, no DX at all and both figures turned out DX.

I'm guessing Batman is a guaranteed DX figure, Penguin and Catwoman, 50/50 which they'd be, could go either way.

Thanks, just looking for some insight. I couldn't care less about PERS, but I guess a shifty looking Catwoman would be cool.:dunno

I was waiting to see your reaction. :lol

I will buy any and all 1/6 scale figures from this movie.

But I'm still trying to ward off 1/6 vehicles.

Regarding 1/4 scale. I've always wanted a Hot Toys quality highly posable 1/4 scale Batman. It's just a question of which. Beyond one or two key characters though, I won't pursue 1/4.

Now where's Nova, he'll have the exact opposite. I predict quite a few of these,:mad:.

1/4 DeVito :yess:

Now I can kitbash a 1/4 Twins with my EB T800 1/4 figure :lol

I tell you what, we'll share one if they make it. That way we can run around while each of us holds an arm. Just like the My Buddy commercial. :yess:

The good news is, if HT drops the ball, we'll all be able to bash together a Fred's hand accessory for The Penguin...

"Hiya, Max!"

...you know you have a gang of these things laying around. :monkey1

:rotfl

A lot of great LOLZ in this thread already! :yess:

I can't wait for Catwoman, after T1 Terminator she's my most "Must buy" Hot Toy possible, I can't wait! (but I'll almost certainly have to for a very long time)

Cool announcement... I'd be interested to see what they do with Catwoman and the Penguin.

But anything past this film is a big old pass :lecture

I'm down for all three, especially if Batman has the torn cowl and Keaton sculpt. And would I get Batman Forever figs? Hell. Yes.

Sure, there were some poor creative choices in that movie; That being said, it mostly has a bad reputation in retrospect because of it's abysmal sequel. The two have unfairly become interchangeable in pop culture. I say unfairly, because Forever has a solid story, handles the Robin subplot well and is still pretty entertaining.

I'd go for a Sonar Suit Bats, Robin and probably Riddler. Two Face is a no go. I'm happy with my Aaron Eckhart figure.

23 years waitig for an 89 Keaton Batman and he finally comes. What happens next? He is out for less than a week and all thouhgts and conversation are immediately turned to Returns and 1/4 dolls. It just doesn't make sense to me. I will be getting all 3 of these and no 1/4. I just want to enjoy my 89 a bit before even really thinking too much on these. Really excited for next month.

It's great that Hot Toys is expanding the license! Personally, I'm not sure if I'd really want a Penguin and a Catwoman, though. My DC collection will feel pretty much complete with just Batman 89' Keaton, Jack Nicholson Joker, and CR Superman.

I still don't understand what the hate is towards 1/4th scale.

I can understand for those people who don't like big scale figures, but there is the option of 1/6th too.

It's not like the release of Batman returns is only in 1/4th scale.

I am pretty sure HT is just giving the option of both scale, so that those who like big figures can have the chance to get it in bigger scale and those who like it in smaller scale still have their chance in getting it in 1/6th.

I am all in for both 1/6 and 1/4th.

Awesome news! The only Batman film I genuinely liked of the late 80s and 90s era, mostly because it was just batsuit crazy! Can't wait to see what figures HT is planning on and what they'll look like!

That's true... Just because some people don't want to buy it doesn't really give them the right to say HT shouldn't make it at all... Why spoil it for the people who do want it?

Imho I think that 1/4 is too big and 1/6 is the perfect size. Not to mention I only have detolfs and a 18" figure would not fit inside xD.

It's just exciting news that's all. I'm sure many of us are Tim Burton fans and would like to have figures from both films. Just because the Batman Returns license was announced doesn't make the 1989 figures any less amazing :). Plus I'm sure we have an entire year to admire our 1989 Batman & Joker before Batman Returns comes out xD.

Yeah man exactly.

And as we spiral down into madness that will be coming in future months, let us try to remember that we do not work to give all our money to Hot Toys. That getting that second job is not really to be able to afford buying second sets of what Hot Toys will be offering.

God save us all for the frantic waiting period that is to come.

So do you guys think a battle damaged Catwoman head or maskless head is a good possibility? The only thing that worries me is how they will get that hair right, seems like it could be a big mess if it was rooted and it would probably look terrible sculpted :(
