You might be right! In December 2012 I put aside $220 each for Batman and Penguin. I don't think $220 is enough now.

If thats really gonna be the case i might pass on batman and just get penguin and catwoman. Im happy with my 89 bats.

That was my problem. I did not want two Bats and HT had me believing that Returns was just around the corner so I passed on 89. The DX 13 is a great figure but you can argue that he is worth $220-$240 last year or the year before (when I started HT). To be honest I am having a hard time dishing out $300 for DX13. So much that I sold my Tracker Predator to hide some of the cost even though I have the money.

Things are getting expensive for sure. Very expensive. Plus also, same kind of things being turned around by HT. Next year am at only 5 preordered so far until April. So unless there is some massive announcements i am sure my numbers would be less than last year. The issue is that, the cost would be the same cause their prices are increasing 50 bucks every six months and then most of these come with 2 sculpts so another100 odd dollars typically to bump them to a 2 figure display. I am s****** bricks....

I too am a BATMAN fan, but even I have to find compromises to save some cash. Other than recently removing a lot of POs, I am NOT buying the recent comic version of BATMAN from SSC - nor Joker, Catwoman or Harley.

Firstly, I really don't actually like them that much and secondly I am looking at the money I did not spend on those four figures and equating this to the money I will spend the Returns line when it arrives.

Besides which, most of my SSC rewards points will have matured by then so I will be getting one for nothing anyway.

Well im 32 years .. Been collecting batman since 8 years old .. Im an architect in norway .. My collection is pretty huge .. I have 2 kids .. But there is a budget for everything ...i just collect batman .. Im in the club of responsabilities .. And paying my bills ..
