Hot Toys Announce Batman Returns License

I've criticized the Burton Bat films up and down but dang if I'm not waiting with baited breath to see these reveals.

I can see the pics a year from now, Penguin being held back by Walkin, and Walkin telling a Predator, " Woah, Ya talkin to my guy all wrong here...Do it again, and I'll stab you in the face with a soldering iron!!!"
I'd love the release Of Shrek, Batman, Catwoman, Penguin, Gordon, and Alfred!

Anyone else read this in their head, in the voice of Christopher Walken?

I have interest in Batman Returns figures but I already own 4 Hot Toys Batmans one being the 89 as well as 4 Jokers one also being the 89... I also want to pick up the Arkham City Bats and Joker because Im sure both will happen that will put at 5 bats and 5 jokers with Joker 2.0 on the way 6 jokers... On the other hands Im still open to a Penguin maybe even Catwoman form Returns if they are good and I can afford them when they hit...

Turns Penguin is a love him, hate him kind of character.

Personally, I love him and can't wait for a figure.

1/4 Keaton is a must buy. Can't wait. A 1/4 Catwoman would do just fine too. I doubt we'll see much from this license until the end of 2013

I never particularly cared for Devito's Penguin. The mutant sewer freak characterization was a bit too much for me, but dammit, if he wouldn't make an incredible figure. He's visually interesting enough that I could get behind putting him on my shelf.

I'm going to predict there's only a 30% that Hot Toys are actually stick by what they said and announce anything to do with this license this month

I think they'll do something closer to Christmas . . . or not, who knows.

Nothings certain with Hot Toys. It could be tomorrow, could be next week, could be next month, could be next year. You never know.

Anyone remember Reeve Superman, that was a looooong time of people *****ing and moaning.

I just re-watched Batman Returns and spotted a Ninja Turtle soft toy in the burning toy store! I Googled it but got no results on anyone pointing that out. Have I just discovered something here?

I always liked the shots of Batman in the car when he first shows up in Gotham. He looks pretty badass in the cowl.
