Hot Toys Announce Batman Returns License

The 89 Batman gave us Bats, the Joker and the Batmobile. The Returns, I think Bats, Catwoman and Penguin. No more. I'd actually be happy with that, especially if they release them close together like they did the 89 pair.
Marketing, I would do two sets. A DX Bats, and a twin pack of Catwoman / Penguin.

I'd be happy with the main three, but Walken's character is visually very striking. I think he'd make a great figure.

You guys need to stop bumping this thread. Every time I see it at the top I keep thinking there's a teaser or a reveal of some kind. Especially the closer we get to December.
The Bat, The Cat and the Penguin are enough for me. Alfred? Gordon? Shreck? Those are all pipe dreams. Hot Toys would never do those three. The only ones that are coming for sure are Returns armor version Batman, Catwoman and Oswald Cobblepot.
Shreck would be cool for the Christopher Walken portrait, unique suit and style alone. I love the businessman archetype that Shreck embodies. He also has those cool cigars in his pocket that he never uses.

Knowing Hot Toys's inclinations, both Walken's popularity as an actor and Shreck's unique visual style are strong reasons for them to do the character as a figure.
Not saying it's going to happen, but I wouldn't be shocked if it does at some point.
Naturally, Gordon and Alfred are definitely not happening. I don't know why people keep bringing up these kinds of characters, as if there's a chance in hell that Hot Toys would make them. It's as if the collectors still don't understand the company that they collect from...
Batman and Penguin are due for exposure in December. They are holding back on Catwoman but I'm certain she will be done.
Be nice if they did Catwoman AND Shreck (her nemesis) but as Anime-style as Walken was in "Returns" I don't think they will do him.

It is funny, but dreaming is fun I guess.I'm having a difficult time reconciling a second Keaton Batman - although that does sound insane to me too, reading it. The Burton films are very dear to me.
Except for Arnold - & maybe SW (massive exceptions), I try not to double dip into individual characters / actors; keeps the collection focused & the budget healthy. Of course, logic doesn't always reign supreme.
Depending on how Michelle turns out, she'll likely be the only one I get from Returns.
Im sure another company will do the Walken character as soon as hot toys rolls out some shots in december.
Maybe Art Figures, they do nice work on clothes but the HS would suffer.
Blitzway only does Pacino, seems like, but they could get that likeness down.
Ill be getting The cat and oswald. Might not double dip with bats unless he has a damaged ripped HS that everyone else is creaming to get.

Speaking of 1/4 scale, thank you, Maglor. Your mods/pics of the EB Batman have played a large part in convincing me to finally take the dive and get the behemoth. My LCS guy is able to order from Diamond at $360, so I've decided to go for it.
