GOD DAM IT ! I miss the Fn ups guy by 45 min!!! Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrhhhhhhhhhhh :( . I want my samuri now!!!!!!!!!!!!!rrrrrrhhhhhhhhhh

Im contemplating picking this guy up, being from Uk im thinking of going with SSC as my normal guy has run out of stock. can anyone in the uk who's ordered this from SSC tell me what it run you? in terms of shipping and charges. i've never used SSC directly.

i know the figure its self is around £220ish but after that? thanks in advance :hi5:

The figure is around $360, plus $40 of shipping, plus the custom fee. Don't know in UK, but here in Italy is something like 26%, so from SSC I'd end up with nearly 500$.
Lowest price I could find here is around 320€ shipped (220£), fair price. You could find something similar if you can avoid the custom fee, maybe through an asian seller. They're practical.

There are a couple of good shops in France and Germany, fair prices I suppose, no custom fee and decent shipping cost.

i can get it through ebay from the same guy a fellow boardie xenomorph1 got it from dgray-man for roughly same price uk sellers have it listed for, what charges tend to occur with stuff from HK? besides the hit and miss customs?

nice 1 for the info buddy, i may go the ebay route then and ask to mark it low to hopefully avoid customs. Knowing how **** our customs are in the uk they will hold it for ****s and giggles lol

Good choice on the seller, he always did great on my deals. Also refunded me for the Nick Fury suitcase LED problem so I could bought a new one (or you can have him go to toyhunters shop to ask for a replacement, but chances are low, so he just refunded money for the defect).

Charges I don't know for your destination, but d.gray-man usually declares a low value and gift. I had some but low custom charges, because of the weight - its quite heavy for a figure (20 USD). Because of its weight the probability of not getting inspected is low i think.

Yup. Just put a 'fair' low price is probably the best idea. Like declaring "Action figure" and "30-40$", maybe you pay £10 of custom, but you're nearly sure not to have trouble.

ah right cool, its just looks such an imposing piece and one i want to add to my collection now rather than later considering aftermarket lol.

Also he sends it privately, so no company involved, which even makes it more believable that this is a real "gift" shipment. But in the end its all about the custom officer. ;)

Good idea to buy it now mate... ;) Aftermarket will be hell!

:wink1: Would be cool if I'd get a back or two for those photos...but I don't think this will ever happen, this hobby is pure investment and passion...but it seems I get quite some appreciation of the crowd back, that's at least what me is driving day to day. Buuut...You could support me a bit if you'd buy something via the sideshow ads on my blog. On the other hand I shouldn't ad for this here, because the forums itself are powered by these sideshow affiliates programm. :peace

Here the unhelmeted and unmasked photos - actually I'm starting to like him unmasked too:

:wave

What amazing pics there. This figure grows on me the more I see it. Are you aware that his jaw can be open down? Try shooting pics with jaw and mandibles open. More bad ***! :)

I like high res pics with alien green blood on the severed head. So freaking awesome..

Is rare, BBTS has it not yet in stock.

Many figures of HOT TOYS sometimes place them in stock one day before sideshow................................."

Still have not heard a peep out of APCollectibles.....hoping I hear something before the end of the week but for some reason I am doubting it. I got it for such a good price...really hard to be impatient but dang I am ready to have this figure. Even my wife is asking me when I am getting it...that's just how awesome it is!
