I am not a crazed Predator fan but this guy looks great. Most of the post for it are positive minus the alien coloring. I am on the fence about picking it up...love the pics

Check this out! a record breaking $127.50 for a purple head! what's funny is that since a lot of knock offs come from Hong Kong I wonder if these purple heads are really Hot Toys factory painted or just brown heads that were painted purple by some dude in his living room. Who would know anyways the real thing from a fake since few people have the real purple heads? I should start selling air on ebay too or something. It's true...suckers are born every minute.

Yeah - it's like you won the Samurai Pred lottery if ya score the right color. I do remember noticing the color difference in the promo & con shots too, but I figured it would have been sorted out before production. Ah well!

Regardless of my brown/orange head, I still really dig the figure tho, just a beautiful piece all around really. My wife was even impressed by it, and that's extremely rare lol

The people who are willing to pay 299 dollars for it ARE PROBABLY RICH! And if you look at the auction, there's some sketchy bidding i see, just one person bumping the price higher and higher.

This is why I don't really bid on eBay. I do bid on Hero/Props/Other Items items but the places I bid at. You have to have or put down your top bid. BEFORE YOU CAN EVEN PUT IN ONE BID!!! A bit ago I wanted a Hero T1 and the person who won it, did put down more then he won it for.

eBay had a Ironman Helmet (not a hero) and I said what the he@@ seem's that my bid was higher then the winning bid. Two week later the person gave me a 2nd chance on it. The winner did not pay for it. In the end I got it for my 1st bid as there was only two bid.

I own all Guy Hebert cards and there is one person at one time that would just bid and bid and bid to drive up the cost. I had to buy it and said I would never do it again (I own a master set).

This does not have to do with Rich. The winner just really needs it. In the case of Hebert the card was a 31/xxxxx and it was the last one out of 42. So I had to bid to win.

Went into my lcs to view this today, the xeno head was brown. The proprietor stated, "well woud'nt the head be able different colors from the blood draining out?".

Even the distributors are being coached by sideshow to bs the consumer.

don't get me wrong, actual i think the purple color killls the detail and brown head is more like the original coloring from the artist though.

the purple body is just it..purple..molded in color without any detail, such a shame cause it's a beautiful sculpt..one of the reasons I painted mine..it brought out all the details that were in there..I would love to do it in the original black/bluish/gray combo but the clear dome has a clear red on it..

I just opened my Sam Pred to check it out and sure enough I have the same problem with the head. Sending it back and try to get another one Really disappointed
