Re: Hot Toys Assassin's Creed II....

Anyone else thing his left brown shoulder pad looks inaccurate to the game model? ..it looks a very different shape.

Wrong shape, and sticks out way to far.

If I was planning on buying it, it wouldn't be a deal breaker though.

Re: Hot Toys Assassin's Creed II....

I think making him look thinner around the waist could be done easily, because if you look at these pics, it looks like there's some space between the body and the outfit that could be brought closer together with a bit of futzing.

The leather shoulder guard looks like it could be tucked in a bit further under the hood and collar opening, but not much. It's obvious the shape isn't quite right, though admittedly I probably wouldn't have noticed unless someone pointed it out.

Re: Hot Toys Assassin's Creed II....

I would love to see a pic with the cape hanging over his arm ..you would think there would have been one in the official pics ..but no.

Re: Hot Toys Assassin's Creed II....

keep in mind I don't know the game, but to me the hood is the most iconic part of the costume and it seems to be the weakest part. I'm pretty sure that I will be getting this but I wish the hood could have translated better. Needed to use thinner fabric and wire the edge maybe?

yeah, thats a good idea. It still could change, but none of these things bother me. More times than not, it seems like most figs are too skinny, so I would rather him have a little bulk, but Im sure it has to do more with the material than anything. I think it prolly came down to price for them.

Re: Hot Toys Assassin's Creed II....

somethings just wont translate to fabric. I can draw flowing crap all day long but when it comes to cutting and draping there is just so much one can expect. Throw in 1:6 scale... forget about it. I really dig this figure though. Such a great costume design.

Re: Hot Toys Assassin's Creed II....

wouldnt silk work? its thin and flowy, but also, im sure more expensive than what they used here

Re: Hot Toys Assassin's Creed II....

silk is hard to sew this small. then again all fabric is hard to sew this small. it amazes me what they can do. cost is actually pretty small.

oooh... 1000 posts. Im a big kid now.

Re: Hot Toys Assassin's Creed II....

His collar area is also a bit off. His collars aren't folded down correctly and some of the detail is missing near his chest area. I'm not sure there will be any tweaks to clothing though... they don't seem to do that often.

Re: Hot Toys Assassin's Creed II....

Re: Hot Toys Assassin's Creed II....

Awesome i hope it come's out in time for the new game.

Re: Hot Toys Assassin's Creed II....

Figure looks awesome, but I'll hold out for an older Ezio with beard and wearing the Altair armor. *crosses fingers and hopes*

Re: Hot Toys Assassin's Creed II....

I just can't understand why they started with the second game and not the first???????? The first character looks awesome!!

Re: Hot Toys Assassin's Creed II....

He looks slimmer in these new pics, even before futzing :rock

Im a big fan of Alter Ego. They are one of the cheapest and they offer points. So does Vikingplayground.
