I have a feeling here anyone already with IW Thanos will want a SG instead of the IG on this figure, and anyone who just wants one figure to represent Thanos will want either both or the IW as you say as a decent representation.

I also don't care that much for 100% screen accuracy. For me it's more about representation of the character on the shelf.

My precise sentiments as well.

My guess is that the SG comes with
Professor Hulk
and it's interchangeable with Thanos.

I’d be inclined to agree because it creates a scenario of “if you want this accessory then you have to get this figure,” but the problem there is I don’t see Professor Hulk being a popular figure, Stark Gauntlet or not. Hulk is a character I think many would only have one representation of due to his sheer size, and I don’t think Professor Hulk would be many people’s top choice.

I hope you're wrong just cause I don't wanna spend anymore money on a 3rd Thanos in the future. :lol

You mean a 4th, right? I know armored Thanos will be my 3rd. If they do a diecast or battle-damaged version, it will be my 4th (or 5th). [emoji12]

BD version I think would be more likely than a die-cast. The latter would be crazy expensive, not to mention weigh a ton.

I agree that they are more likely to produce a BD version.

That said I would LOVE a die-cast version of this Thanos!!!! As you indicated SilverStar17 I am sure that Thanos would be incredibly heavy and he would probably cost between 600-800 dollars ...but man I bet he would look amazing!!

Die-Cast wil costs to much for a figure of his size :rotfl

Man I wish we still saw BD versions of figures. Or at least just more battle damage swap out parts. Just don't see it happening these days. What was the last figure that even got a battle damage variant made? I'm thinking battle damage armored batman?

that and I suppose the Dusty Deadpool could be considered "battle damaged"

Don't forget that the "diecast" Iron Man figures are just the legs and maybe a small piece on the arms. It's just a gimmick as they are still mostly plastic.

I’d prefer Armored Thanos to not be diecast. It’d be too heavy for the figure imo and cost a fortune. This as it is will be the most imposing figure around imo. Like others have said Iron Mans are barely diecast. Legs for better support mainly since early armors had issues not standing well. Maybe a few internal pieces: the new mark L has very little. That being said the paint is awesome.

You’re often able to get more detail in plastic as well as opposed to die-cast. This figure is without a doubt going to have some major shelf presence.

Yes Subzro you are right about the "diecast" figures not being completely diecast and that does detract from the thrill a bit. However I have the Civil War Iron Man and Civil War War Machine and I love the overall heft of those figures. Also even though I will admit that this is somewhat irrational, there is a part of me that really enjoys knowing that some parts on those figures armor is actually metal.

That said, I cant wait for this Endgame Thanos to arrive next year, as some of you have mentioned I am sure that even with plastic armor this guy is going to be hefty and will have a ton of shelf presence!
