Armored with the gauntlet is the way we are introduced to Thanos in Infinity War. That's good enough for me.

It would be cool if the stones were magnetic and could be removed and replaced in the gauntlet with Armored Thanos. That would allow recreation of that introductory scene in IW, with screen accuracy... Won't happen, but it's be cool.

I personally don't care about the nano gauntlet regardless of whether it's screen accurate to the figure or not. I got this figure because he's fully armored and has the right gauntlet. It's the closest we're going to get for this to the comic version. Hopefully, for my sake, it has the regular and then they release a BD version with the nano.

I'm not going to lose sleep over it either way, but to me this is similar to the IW Thor release with the incorrect Stormbreaker. A lot of people pre-ordered both of these figures prior to the release of their respective movies with no idea that they were not accurate representations of what they'd see on screen. And it's not like the Nano gauntlet would be a difficult or costly add for HT to include. While the IG goes on his left hand, the Nano gauntlet goes on his right hand and they're already designing it as a separate piece for EG Hulk. How difficult would it be to make sure it fits both figures?

Yeah that would be very awesome but I just know I would lose one lol

But yes very cool indeed.

Spiderman figures and (old) Ironman figures are average $250 and there are group of people collecting the variations.
This is Thanos. costing $415 + shipping. And this guy is huge.
I don't see many people collecting him or buy more than 1 version of him. Maybe sell old and buy new.
Only way they might do is "a convention exclusive with nano guantlet" , but that would be a total d*ck move for Hot toys.

yet they've done it before....

There are certainly some rich (crazy) folk out there that collect any and every figure, so I totally anticipate some completionist out there to have all 3 versions of Thanos...or maybe all 4 of them, I'm of course referring to the inevitable Neon Tech release of Thanos! :rotfl

Also HT has pulled these d*ck moves in the past, they certainly will do it again... :slap

I'm gonna end up owning 2 of these bad boys: IW and EG Thanos...but I feel like those 2 versions are different enough to own...a 3rd BD Thanos might be one too many at that point...I gotta draw the line somewhere.

neon Thanos lulz

I'm still disappointed this version doesn't come with a normal left arm :slap

Yeah I only have space for one Thanos and it has to be armored but i?m bummed out he won?t come with the pre bent arm which looks great showing off the IG.

The crease in the arms when folded not only look horrible but it will damage the material.

Bummer.

I thought sure that it did. I remember seeing the extra hand options during the reveal...I think.

You remember correctly - there are regular left hands, but they didn't show a regular left forearm guard. I'll be amazed if it's actually overlooked when this is released.

I expect this figure to then come with both gauntlets. I bought this specifically because he was armored and came with a completed gauntlet. If they're also now showing pics of the nano gauntlet then I hope it's in addition and not a replacement.

Same here. I got it mostly to represent Thanos at the start of IW when he decimated Thor’s ship and he was in full armor with the Infinity Gauntlet. Granted he only had the power stone at that time, but I’d much rather have a gauntlet with all the stones and not just one.

I hope the Nano Gauntlet is simply an accessory, and this comes with both gauntlets and then a regular right arm, so that way he can represent both IW and EG.

This is turning into kinda pointless debate at this point. (kinda like sculpted hair vs rooted hair argument)
I'd say just give me the figure, I'll do the rest (as usual)

Yeah, I'm assuming HT will be perfectly content releasing yet another figure that's not accurate to the film it's supposedly from, and then I'll have to pick up the nano gauntlet separately when Endgame Hulk gets parted out.

What you do with it though is contingent on what they give you with it.

The nano gauntlet doesnt make sense with this figure either if screen accuracy is the issue. He doesnt get it until after his fight with wanda. The nano gauntlet should come with the battle damage thanos and a broken razor as well.

I like the idea of the removeable magnetic stones but there better be some extras of each. I dont care about the light up feature, the IW gauntlet wasnt bright enough anyway. So if that light up feature is what would need to be sacrificed to have removeable stones that would be cool with me.

Well to counter your argument, even though it is sound, the BD Mk 85 comes with the accessories that should have come with the Clean version of the 85...so it all boils down to HTs being d*cks about accessories just to get us to double/triple dip.

Very true.
Since this is (and will be) only Thanos I'll get, it really doesn't matter which Gauntlet I end up with. I'll get (or make) the other one that doesn't come with.

I'm not interested in 'Severely battle damaged Thanos'
While it would be a cool figure to display with BD ironman, it would make sense to get it as a second Thanos figure after having one of the normal one.
