Hot Toys Avengers Speculation

I want them both from Hot Toys! Especially ScarJo!

We need this Black Widow with sculpted hair to make up for the last one!

Better body too. The Sucker Punch figures are looking potentially good, but just looking at figures released so far, none of the HT females have really worked for me body-wise.

Agreed, a guy with a bow and a red headed Barbie = easy pass for me.

Well, to be fair I want those two as well but I want the big three first. Especially Iron Man since he's my top fave of the three.

My thinking is I KNOW we'll get Iron Man, Thor, and Cap and I also know I want Black Widow, Nick Fury, Hawkeye, and Hulk. So I'd like to see the later earlier since they seem like less of a sure-thing.

I hear you. They already did a BW figure and I don't think she deserves a second figure tbh, her character kinda blows to begin with. The other 1 has a stronger case having never been imo.

Well, they'll do one for this most likely especially since she's got a new hair style and this time they can go with sculpted hair. That will make this figure 100x better than the last one. The character is cool. I liked her in IM2.

I wonder if they'll do sculpted hair, interesting to see if they would go that route & I agree it would be an improvement. As for her character in IM2, I know you'd like it Josh...you like EVERYTHING!

When I think about how short the actual battle sequences were and how much screen time her character (who's unimportant to the plot) ate up, I die a little inside

I'm sure we'll get sculpted hair for Black Widow.

The last BW wasn't horrible but it was okay, I say okay because I really didn't like the rootted hair.

I'm just looking forward to see the entire line up of the Avengers in 1/6th form!

I would expect they will. If not maybe if the doll hair looks good I'll get it. It makes life so much easier if you just like stuff.

She had some really cool action scenes in IM2. I loved the luchador style fighting they gave her. She's hardly unimportant to the plot. You'd have to restructure a lot of the movie if you removed her character.

That hallway scene was alright, I won't complain. But I disagree with her character importance to the plot, they could have cut her time in half in my opinion but she's so damn hot nobody is complaining

If I had to choose longer action sequences with IM & WM kicking ass or more ScarJo, I would choose longer action sequences. They chose ScarJo. Oh well

I think the movie strikes a good balance. My main qualm isn't the length of the action but the utilization of Whiplash in the final battle. It's too short, but that's because it's in the wrong place. Really if you ask me the battle between Whiplash, IM, and WM should have all taken place at the same time as with the drones. WM and IM no matter how beat up, being so easily handled by Whiplash doesn't make sense.

If it had been Whiplash and a bunch of drones, that would have worked a lot better imo.

She is a fine figure, but i agree the hair destroys it, especially if you are like me and are crap with doll hair.

I cannot wait for the Avengers either, I hope we get a Loki too because he looks better than the Thor version.

I hate the argument that S.H.I.E.L.D. ate up too much time in Iron Man 2. No matter what anybody says these are the comics in motion format so i'm expecting to see these characters show up and if i don't then what's the point of these characters being in a connected universe?

Tom Hiddleston/Loki is as tall if not slightly taller than Chris Hemsworth/Thor..... Son of Frost Giants afterall..

I was looking at this new movie artwork and thinking how many of these Hot Toys will make into figure?
Personally I'd like to see all seven of them. I think they'd all make really good figures.
