Only if I can find the sneakers to go with them.

Thor's new duds look much improved from his debut. I'm digging the blue pants.

And Starky's got a phat suitcase! :yess:

Cap's shield looks huge here! (not a fanboy rant)

Did Johannsen gain some weight after Iron Man 2?

its gonna look completely different once we see what the movie cameras are filming and with all the movie magic that will be applied post filming

In fact, I consider all of Marvel's films thus far to be well thought-out in motivated design.
I realize Nolan's method is credited as the pinnacle of this approach, but Marvel's done well so far in my book.
(But I'm admittedly biased towards Marvel, so . . . :wink1:)

See this is where I differ. To me Nolan's Batman films are the antithesis of motivated design. All the designs are over detailed and the opposite of functional. They have the appearance of utilitarianism but in reality are design over function.

I love the Iron Man designs so much as they start with function and then style that functional design. The Nolan Batman design is style first that's then made functional.

jesus.. anyone would think we're looking at this with the way you guys are carrying on.

gained weight? unflattering shots? pfft shush she is gorgeous. (Scar Jo that is)

I think she looks great in all those shots. I love how not super-skinny she is. Hollywood has given people an unrealistic view of what people actually look like.

She does look great, but there is nothing wrong with skinny women either. I think it is equally bad to bash thin as well as more full-figured women.

I think a girl with a bit of meat on her bones is perfect! Not fat mind you, but not skinny...and ScarJo fits the bill!

Interesting point. Batfans applaud how "Nolan took the fantastical and made it sensible, logical, and believeable" but your point about form over function explains why we still have a batsuit that looks like it could be from another Schumacher trainwreck. I found the batmobile-started-life-as-a-military-bridging-vehicle clever, but I'll take Shellhead as a rich tech-based hero over Bruce Wayne anyday. (Plus, I can't stand Bale's cookie-monster-with-laryngitis voice. Ri-*******-diculous.)

Getting more of a Ted Kord Blue Beetle vibe from this shot of Cap than most:

:rock

:lol

No kidding! Evans has a goofy mug. He needs some sunlight, too. Cap ain't a vampire.
His costume looks a much darker blue in bandito's latest pic. Filters & lenses are everything . . . :monkey1
