You guys all have good points. Scar indeed represents the movie itself being the "hero" Predator but damn I fell in love with Celtic and Ancient's bios the minute I saw them. Dammit!!! Why couldn't Scar have came with a cooler bio like Asia's or something! They had to make the hero Pred wear the most boring bio.
For me i will sell Celtic because the Celtic mask is not my favorite, i will keep Scar because i am more prefer the typical predator mask design.

I wish I didn't cancel my orders for the older AVP Predators (mostly due to the fact that I could make a profit), but now that I look back they really don't look that great compared to the latest Classic figure. More poseable, yes, but then you have to see those unrealistic joints. And people are actually pouring boiling water on the dreads to make them look normal?
Meh. Glad Hot Toys finally got it right. The Classic almost seems more like a statue than an action figure though since the poses are pretty limited, but I can live with that.

They tried too hard to make him relate to P1. Celtic's mask would have been ideal for the lead.

i agree celtic should have been the leader, his bio was so much cooler.
Celtic was the leader. Scar just managed to survive longer.
They kept Scar as the promo predator so people who had saw Predator could relate to him and think " oh yeah, predator! ".
If you have a cross-over between 2 iconic franchises you dont give them unrecognisable looks. If you plastered Celtics mask on a poster everybody would be like wtf is that.

Scar had the biggest cannon though. I guess Celtic did kind of take charge in the early stages.

I prefer the comic version. Japanese, and her partner was an Elder named Broken Tusk that kills alien Queens with his bare hands and not get face hugged and toss away his arm bomb then cause the death of countless predators in the sequel. Yea I'm gonna sell Scar...

Chopper got the chop too early in the film.
Chopper and Celtic got too little attention in the movie and Scar got too much. Bad balance.

Looking at Prometheus, imagine what an AVP film could have been like with that kind of budget (if done right).
