Looking at Prometheus, imagine what an AVP film could have been like with that kind of budget (if done right).

I cant wait to see what an alien looks like before its dna blends with a human. Now I understand why the first aliens had skulls that were visible.

Well don't forget that both AVP films had crappy directors. I believe the budget on AVP wasn't all that small. The second one was but they just used it as an excuse instead of maximizing their potential.

I believe it was about $60 million for AVP and $40 million for AVP:R. The Strause Brothers did constantly moan about the budget though although Predators was made far better on the same budget.

I agree, I really did enjoy Predators....Anyone heard anything about a Predators sequel? I haven't really heard anything much lately (my definition of lately is like within the last 6 months or so).

I'd really love to see the dynamics that could make up a movie like the ancient cultures interracting with Predators, going along with the thought that the Preds taught us how to build and whatnot...could be cool.

I prefer the comic version. Japanese, and her partner was an Elder named Broken Tusk that kills alien Queens with his bare hands and not get face hugged and toss away his arm bomb then cause the death of countless predators in the sequel. Yea I'm gonna sell Scar...

Machiko also made a come back in the AVP 3 world war series. nice to see her back.

AVP: Three World War was a great series but don't forget to read Predator: Prey to the Heavens and the Aliens 4 issue series first as they tie in together.

Nah I'm good. Is the art inside the 3WW good? A lot of times the cover arts is always way too good for the interior art and is used as a gimmick to draw readers in.

It's decent, kind of looks like the original AVP series art but better. The covers are amazing as they are painted pieces, but sadly, the art is nothing like that. But the storyline is fantastic, you finally see Machiko again in the most epic battle to date. Predators Vs. Marines Vs. Aliens Vs. Evil Predators, you can't beat that!

How many issues is 3WW? And did they ever collect it into a TPB?
