HOT TOYS "AVP" FIGURES - Give Some Love to the Classics!

No......besides if you wanna get technical about it, the Celtic you sent me wasn't original the Bio that was on him was custom painted, and was extremely heavy(obviously not original either) AND he wasn't even complete I made him complete..

I'm not trying to bring up a dead subject, or whatever I'm just stating some facts is all.

Nam, the Bio that came with the Celtic when Carlos originaly sent it to me, was oddly heavy, and was repainted, w/ silver lenses.
And it never fit on the head right.

I'm NOT trying to trash talk anyone here, I'm just trying to explain my part in the Celtic fiasco that happend months back.

Guys, this it the Bio that originally came with the Celtic when Carlos sold it to me. I changed bios because this one broke(like I said, this was an odd Bio and was really heavy and never fit properly on the Celtics face, so in my attempt to get it to fit better, it ended up cracking).

All I know about the Bio that came with the Celtic when I bought it, was heavy(for a bio I mean this had some serious weight to it, it was also thicker then my Chopper's bio, and the other fake Celtic bio(that's pictured in the collection thread)

So your calling me a liar. So by that your ALSO calling SilentSurfer a liar to. Since He's the one I got the Celtic from in the first place. I trust him 100 times before I trust you again. I got my first Hot Toy from him and consider him a true friend here and off the board. And what the "___" are you talking about it not fitting right. When I had it the bio never came off until Surfer fixed the claw marks. And I never had a problem with it. Before and after.

Darthjuan007. He's the boardie that sold this Celtic to me, and his Chopper Predator.

The Celtic we're talking about is the one I sold to Ashkanls(I was under the impression it was original, and I know realize it was not)

The bio pictured by itself is the original bio that came with the Celtic when he sold it to me, after that one broke, I bought the other one(mesh lenses) off eBay, with the knowledge(supplied by the seller) that it was simply customized from the original....which it wasn't.

I didn't want this to turn into a "bash on Carlos" situation

Everyone that has an authentic Celtic would know that the bios always had trouble staying on the head properly. (I still remember Pitu's old videos stating that before I even started collecting Hot toys.)

PvA. For a guy who think he knows so damn much about these figures, I feel like you know nothing at all. And time and time again you do the work for us to discredit yourself with your own words.

My verdict: Carlos bought an original Celtic which was custom painted by Silentsurfer (Nathan) into a movie accurate Celtic. (Nathan painted my bios too and even with that blurry photo I can see the smoothness of the lens just like what Nathan did for me.) Carlos sold his Celtic to PvA. PvA broke the bio because he's an idiot. PvA got a bootleg bio from ebay. PvA sold it as an original to Ashkanls (an argument most of us still remember pretty well). And now PvA is calling Carlos a liar.

That's what I was thinking too. Those things are tough. But hey, they're not unbreakable. If autobotjohn can mess those figures up, why not PvA?

You've got a point there. I personally treat my HT Predators like precious treasures. There's no way I'd allow any of them to get damaged by anything. I'm too protective of them.

Guys get over yourselves it's a bit ridiculous to bash me for nothing. The bio had the thinkness of almost 2 AvP bios(I had an original Scar I bought from Tnaig and the Chopper I bought from Carlos) The Celtic bio that came with the figure when Carlos sent it to me was heavy(my assumption of it being fake was the thickness, and fragility of the bio) F.Y.I I wasn't being rough with it, or being stupid with the bio when it broke(I even watched Pitu's youtube vids to see how to get my Chopper's mask to stay on. Which is what I was trying to do with the Celtic's when it cracked straight down the middle(not in half, just got a huge ugly crack)

I have NO knowledge of a bio being real or a recast, as I said all I had was the eBay sellers guarantee it was customized from the original(I really like the mesh lenses and BD scars).

This crap is over and done with, it's stupid to keep dragging it up.

Listen Carlos, I'm not calling you a liar. All I did was state something about the Bio you sent to me with the Pred. Everyone else gave me their opinions(and I fed off of them) The weight of the bio you sent me was nothing compared to the Chopper's(which you also sold me) and the Scar's that I had it was much heavier. It's thicknes was that of two bios(and if you looked at the back(black part that goes on the face) it looked like it was two bios put together because there was two "U" shapped parts on it.

Like I told you in a recent phone call, this Celtic has been nothing but bad luck for me since I got it.

This crap is ridiculous. It's an internet forum, I've got no idea why I let your opinions of me, bother me

If it was original why was it so thick? And why was it so fragile, so much so that it cracked right down the middle, when all I did was pinch(lightly) the sides so that it'd stay on the face.

And, I'm not an idiot. All I did was state an assumption I had about the bio, and Nam even said if that's the case then it might not be original. So I stated more things about the bio...and more people gave me their opinions. So most of those posts you quoted(besides the first) was based solely off of them, and what little knowledge I had about the bio when it was in my possesion.

The Ashkanls fiasco, was my fault and I admitted that.

Yes It did, the bio that I got off eBay is a POS, and you knew about prior to getting it back from me.

I pinched the sides so it would stay on the face(just like Pitu did in his vids with the Chopper) and it cracked right down the middle.
