It seemed fine enough as it was, and I ran out of the tinier-sized quills. I bought the Elder used and about a quarter or so (maybe more) of his quills were gone. They were attached to his head and came off during shipping when the seller originally got him. So I removed what was left and touched him up. Good deal, nonetheless.

Haters can hate... but the AVP line will always be one of my favorites. Today was one of those impulsive picture-taking days when I shot my older figures and once again entered AVP madness .

I am also short on quills (actually I have none) as the seller who sold me AVP Elder, never included the quills...not sure what I can do about that...

I've started a WTB thread for AVP Elder Quills but I really don't think anyone will be selling theirs...its quite a bummer....

Turn it into an unmasked Scar by employing the talented custom painters we got on these threads. I would suggest Elvis1976. He did an Elder head for me and did a great transition job of turning the Elder head into the unmasked Scar. It outclasses the Ani-Com Scar head in many ways.

Was it a recast or an original? If it's an original, just have it repainted into someone more movie accurate by someone.

Hm...thats a good idea...but at the same time I kind of like the unique Elder look (since I don't have the P2 Elder), this will be my only "elder" predator...ugh...do you think anyone could recast the quills? not sure how that would work though, its so tiny

Hard to say. I've heard of people using the tips of those plastic toothpicks before. I'm sure you can find a substitute for it. But do you have a Scar? If not I would recommend customizing it.

I have a Celtic, but I have gotten a Scar mask (recast) for him, and Seth is casting the stomach armor for me so I was planning on using him to be either Celtic or Scar, since I only have the "main" pred from each movie...with the exception of any other ones I happen to pick up when I find a reasonable deal...

Do you have a link to your collection or pics of the Scar Elvis customized for you? Though making AVP Elder into a scar would pretty much make all his accesories (Elder spear, Elder cape, Elder skull necklaces, etc) useless (in terms of screen accuracy at least).

I want to have at least one mint original before customizing anything Tim.
So I need the original mint one then I will ask someone to repaint it. Or ask someone to recast it for BD celtic
