damn, if these cost me 150 or whatever when they were released I'd actually "play" with them...but at $500 per fig...I'm scared chicken ____ of even moving the arms in fear of stretching the netting...

So i've gone through most pages on this thread, being the big fan I am, but haven't seen any ridiculously good poses like these from Mediworld forums...check them out. I had no idea these AVP predators were capable of that range of motion. Not sure, but I am so afraid to move my Celtic at all...I wish I had like 2 of these, then I would pose the hell out of one.

If these have been posted, or if the poster is someone on SSF - I apologize in advance.

Oh damn! Now that's how you pose a Pred!!!
I'm gonna have to copy those poses. Just having my Preds stand there looks cool but boring. These are are dynamic!

@vareika: Those are the sexiest AVP Pred poses I've ever seen! Damn, I gotta move my dreads more. And yippee, another reason for me to love the fact that most of my AVP Preds came with only bendy hands. No loss there!! :rock
I am a little curious as to how stable those figures are. Sure, they can stand up... but I doubt those bases are planted securely on the ground. I bet one little tap would knock them right over. Hope I'm wrong, as I'd love to get this look on my shelf.

PS: Those head sculpts are actually pretty awesome in those pics. ARGH! After buying all those Police Shootout T-800 accessories, I'll have to wait a couple months before setting my sights on the last of the Big Four -- Scar. I can afford him now, but it's best to pace things out.

Yowza, they're not made of glass or anything. Not saying to play catch with them across the room, but they can handle posing pretty well.

I've tossed mine before, my cat caught it wiht only one paw.

Bendy hands rule! I wish they brought that back with the current Preds. I dunno why they don't do it.
Definitely agree. :clap

In the first pic with scar attacking with the dagger, replace the dagger with a combi-stick, and move his legs apart more as if he is leaping. Perfect.

I think these guys are just too top heavy and on used figures the joints aren't always sturdy enough to hold non-standing poses. In some of the pics on Mediworld I see them using non-HT stands to support the crazy poses.

This is the most "extreme" pose my celtic has EVER been in. Usually hes arms on left unbent and too the side...pretty boring...

Bio is always on btw...only took off for fun...

I really wish they brought back the bendy dreads. I've read alot of people saying they don't like them, but with them you can create a much more dynamic pose. I love them, unfortunately I only have them on my Special Ancient.

veryyyyyyy coolllll man.

Can you take half of the chest armour off of the regular AVP preds (Scar/Celtic/Chopper) so they look like the Ancients?

yes u can but u have to put straps. Also another difference will be the right shoulder armor won't be like ancient per se.

Thanks for great pics. Awesome. But I think u can't and shouldn't pose like that for long time. It may damage the joints. If it's for photo shoot it's okay. I just can't risk having it damaged :(

I want ur celtic lol.

:lecture Awesome figures and fantastic poses.
However, I don't think the problem is keeping them in that pose for long periods of time, but rather, the constant bending of the dreads or fingers.

It would seem the material inside that allows for such poses would weaken then eventually crack.

Pose it then leave it.

Great pics! I'm happy to say that I have my first avp pred waiting for me at home after work....I do have a question though...you guys know anyone that does devastating of the ancient Asia Bio? Thanks
