Maybe you could use the BB hazmat for Marty. Since we don't have a Doc yet.

You could or you could use the hazmat suit from dan chungs awesome custom 1/6th scale marty and doc figures. The doc radiation suit he made was spot on.

The doc was amazing, but Marty's suit was yellow. I don't remember Dan ever supplying the yellow hazmat suit with Marty, did he? Not to mention the Doc was over $1000 and came with a white hazmat.

The BB idea is great, would just need to make the hat/helmet part and a belt.

Exterior is stunning- interior is alittle bare and very half cobbled together- real shame. Super detailing interior a must but shouldn't have to for this price tag. Torn but I may cancel but see not much hope for BTTF2 version

Just looking at the new pics I noticed there were no visible exhaust pipes. I thought it wasnt accurate but watching it back out of the truck on the film there aren't any visible either. All the other models I've seen have huge pipes stuck out of the back so that's a score for hot toys! Also I'm loving the way the overhead lights light the interior. Can't wait for this, finally buckled and ordered Marty to go with it!

It seems like HT lit just about everything except the time circuits. :lol

I wish we knew the fate of the flying DeLorean. I much prefer that version, but this is pretty tempting, especially if it were to ever go on sale.

The movie kind of a fandom/ documentary of Back to the future called "BACK IN TIME" is on netflix this month and i am now even more HYPED n Proud i'll be getting this in a couple month's.:yess: So many cool story's from this film and the story's behind the film are very cool! If your excitement has died a wee bit while waiting...:impatient: Watch Back in time and will for sure remind you why you LOVE the Delorean. Again very nostalgic and stoked my wait in TIME is almost over.:yess: Cant wait...:impatient:

I dont get why people are so fixated on the time circuits. to be fair to hot toys, they never stated that the time circuits would light up. yes it would be nice, dont get me wrong but i never expected them to light up. I do wish that interior looked a little more cluttered though as it looks to showroom-y. a simple fix though.

from the website:

"- One (1) flux capacitor with LED light-up function
- One (1) set of time circuits
- Detailed components with LED light-up function"

however, I dont know why hot toys havent gone with it. it cant be too difficult considering the hot wheels 1/18th version that due has light up time circuits (take a look at the extended information tab). however that could just be like the 1/15th scale ones where its just a whitish/orange LED. I really want this hot wheels version as it comes complete with interchangable parts. However, the price puts me off.

I was being a little sarcastic about the moaning - hence the winky face. :)

And that Hot Wheels one looks good, but I'm personally sticking with HT

Yeah for me the hot wheels elite ultimate edition delorean is the one to own even over the hot toys version(if you can manage to get one). Just look at all the electronics it comes with:

Exterior Light Up Features - Headlights, Taillights, Flux Bands, Chassis
Interior Light Up Features Time Circuits, Plutonium Gauges, Speedometer, Ceiling Array, Spectrum Analyzer, Flux Capacitor
Interactive play with lights and sounds - Activating time circuits, time travel sequence, and sounds from the movies

Most importantly though its also diecast and not plastic. The only one letdown is however as you say the price which may very well put off a lot of people. Not me though...

Worth the money- all those features- getting the Ultimate Elite ...

eaglemoss is due to start a part works soon which will have all that jazz the hot wheels one will have, be die cast and will be in 1/5th scale. only problem with that is eaglemoss's track record is great and it will take like 2 years to get a complete model. Im gonna go with that and may look at the hot wheels one too. sadly, i have only seen a pre order for it at bttf.com so far.

Thats true and the eaglemoss may be the best of the 3 but it takes 2 years to make! 2 years! lol and theres no guarantee eaglessmoss will finish the series. They might have a good track record but i wouldn't like to bank on it.

I'd hate to be halfway finished a model only to have the series end mid way through. Also for people who don't like building things and having them ready made the hot wheels elite would be the best to go with. Added to that i think 1/18 is the perfect scale for model representations. Not too big not too small. You can get your hand around it nicely and can be displayed in many more places then a bulky 1/8th or 1/6th scale model.

Just my 2 cents for what its worth.
