I would imagine it would be 20% of the total cost including the shipping cost and then the Fed Ex fee on top of that which is 12 quid I believe.

No but once that happens theres pretty much no way to fix it unless you open it up and solder the connections properly which i wouldn't recommend unless you have some electronics knowledge. Where did you buy? If from sideshow you can ask for a replacement.

Finally got the strip lights in there and I think it looks great. Whoever thought of using a fish tank is genius. I was able to hide all of the lights on the top black frame.:clap

I'm going to have to settle for housing this behemoth in this for now. Put some LED lights in and I'm happy for the most part. Wanted Marty in front of it like some of my other pics, but even this shelving unit is still too small depth wise.

I'm too scared I'd ruin it if I tried to air brush it. "Nervous I am". Lol.

I think its a question of having an inaccurate collectible or just live with it. Hehe.

Anyway I might have a pro do it.

It's something else I've been looking at too. Mine came from the factory with a few rubs anyway, so I'm up for doing it.

If you match the right colour, please share! :)

Can anyone provide the dimensions of the flux capacitor?

I'm wondering if this will fit as a replacement
https://vimeo.com/164771665

It's about 1" wide by 1.75" tall by 0.75" deep.

it will fit but its smaller than the hot toys one. The mini flux capacitor (which is freaking awesome by the way, I have the one in the video and the stainless editions) are 1/10th scale. The attention to detail is staggering and is far superior to the hot toys one (its movie accurate). sadly the detail is lost in videos and pics due to the brightness of the fluxing, but its gorgeous. However, Im not sure how you will switch it on once its installed or even charge it. To charge it, you plug a USB cable into the bottom and the power button is located on the side. The only thing I can think of is to somehow mount it in there in a way so that you can remove it easily to charge and power on. The battery lasts around 6hours if its on constantly and takes 3 hours to fully charge.

Experimenting with some more posing and realized what's the point of having the DeLorean and Marty McFly if you're not going to put him in it. [emoji851][emoji106]

I just got mine today and it's incredible! I saw that it's 1/10 scale on the packaging but was not expecting Hot Toys to be totally accurate on the interior components scaling.

If it's a close fit I was going to try replacing and mounting it with a magnet so it's removable to flip on and charge.
