I thought you liked to have only one representation of a character on your shelves.

There are a few exceptions, strictly granted to those characters that I have the utmost nostalgic bond with. Had Hot Toys nailed Indy, I would have had him right next to my custom. If Hot Toys nails Marty, he'll go right next to my custom :)

Amazing news!!
I was going to buy some extra goods in order to finish my custom Marty, but I'm glad HT is doing one!!
:rock!!

I'll still finish painting up Trevor's HS, which is awesome!!

Just read about this... I don't think the HT one can top the RM project one. A 1/6 Delorean though? YES PLEASE!

I just heard this great news!

The car and Marty will be my first Hot Toys purchases.

Triple costumed DX Marty perhaps?
I can't see this happening. If HT does this (still a big "if" in my mind), then it seems that they'll try to milk it by doing separate releases of Marty for each film. He's got multiple outfits within films that he can be given, so maybe a 2-in-1 DX (traditional look and Enchantment Under the Sea look, for example), but not of cross-film looks.

Certainly makes the most sense.

All up for milking on this line. :)

I would have to agree with this not to mention since they had to fight for Fox's approval I could see them using it as much as possible. The DeLoreans if they'll do two different Tumblers I could easily see them doing a couple of DeLoreans at least.

Yeah, seems like Lloyd has been happy to do promotional stuff as the old character over the years with no real issues or hangups. I think he realizes and has no problem with the fact that people will always most associate his career as an actor with that role. But I don't really know his POV on likeness rights.

But they haven't done 2 different Tumblers, just re-released the exact same thing.

Personally I'd prefer to see a single DeLorean that can be dressed for all 3 movies. No room for all 3.

One would have thought Crispin Glover or even worse Thomas F. Wilson (Biff) wouldn't have an issue but Wilson has openly said he wants nothing to do with anything BTTF.

Stranger things have happened.

Not yet. I guarantee you'll see the Camo Tumbler before they are done with the TDKR license.

As for the DeLoreans, you could have the portions for the BTTF2 parts (for the most part) since it's at the end of the film but the question mark would be BTTF3 with the portions in the 50s or the train sequences. I'm sure we'll see it more than once.

Mags, I'm gonna go thru the same thing when they annouce the DIE HARD license. And if its not HT, it will be Enterbay or now Dragon or someone. It's just a matter of time. All things will be made.

All figures and All popular characters should be made by all companies HT, Enterbay, etc etc We talking a billion dollar movie and television industry. IMHO

One Marty is ok with me. Multiple costume choices would be cool along with an extra "surprised" expression head would be aces.

1 Delorean is all I need.

I didn't need Jack with Bats, but I need Doc Brown. He is essential.

I think the '89 Batmobile is a good example of how HT can fit two films worth of vehicle "accesories" into one release.

Please include two head sculpts. I don't think one head sculpt will cut it. Can't wait to see what they have in mind.
