They should re-issue the Camo Tumbler, but with an interchangeable roof with options for missiles or cannon.

Finally has a chance to really comb over those beauty shots on the order page. That's one of the most varied and well put together PO galleries we've seen in a while- really showing off the figure and it's improvements with some great photos that aren't over-produced - nice job, HT!

Really impressed with this one. While I know many in here didn't dig the movie, I did and Hardy's performance especially. He captured a ferocity and intensity that was a thrill to watch. Considering that Hardy had to follow one of the most lauded and loved performances in a comic book based movie with Ledger's iconic take on Joker, he managed to turn in a take on Bane that not only was technically challenging with half his face covered with that tech-savage mask, but actually managed to evoke intelligence and empathy with his physical performance despite the odd intonations of that strange twisted voice. Pretty epic.

While the first version of the figure was a decent release for it's time, this new version really captures Hardy's take on the character really well. Packed with detail missing from the original release and that really amazing looking seamless upper body looks great with a it's veiny, scar-textured detail. The proportions are very much improved, the pants and harness are cut and fitted to the body much better. The movable eyes will provide a lot of great expressions for photos and display. This is the kind of effort we should always see when a new version of a previously released figure is announced.

I'm more excited for this reissue to join the collection than I am many of the newer releases I have PO'd.

Reflecting back this is a pretty bad character design. With the Nolan Batman based in reality, really what the hell is on his mouth?

I also love the Bane voice. It's weird, but I love it. The Harley Quinn show makes excellent use of it. For good or ill, that is what Bane sounds like to me. It's cannon. Imagine that voice speaking, "I am Bane... and I could kill you. But death would only end your agony... and silence your shame. Instead, I will simply break you." Prior to TDKR, Bane sounded like Franz Sanchez or Tony Montana.

Oh, I can definitely imagine Hardy's Bane voice speaking that quote and it would sound glorious.

When you look at the character you wouldn't expect that voice, but that's why it works so well in my opinion. The more or less sophisticated voice, the words and phrases he uses it shows that he isn't a mere dumb brute. There is a lot of intelligence and emotion in this man.

This isn't a populair opinion, but I actually prefer Bane over the Joker. Don't get me wrong, I think the TDK Joker is a great villain and very well portrayed in the movie. But deep down I think he's overrated.

I am sure the character would've been hugely popular among the target audience. But the fact that Heath Ledger died shortly before the movie was released, really pushed the movie and character into mainstream territory. I still remember outrageous newsheadlines about how the Joker's psyche got to him and he had to commit suicide over it. People just had to see it for themselves.

And all of a sudden everybody was a Joker fan. I had classmates back at the time who made fun of me for being a nerd because I was into superheroes and sci-fi and everything and overnight they were huge Joker fans and all started quoting the Joker and wearing Joker related merchandise.

I wonder if the character would've blown up in the same way if Heath Ledger hadn't died.

I think Bane is the more interesting character of the two in the TDK trilogy. The backstory of the Pit, his calculated way, his speech and intelligence, his physique and menace. All being portrayed excellently by Tom Hardy using pretty much only his eyes and eyebrows.

I find myself looking up Bane scenes on Youtube fairly regulary where I never do that with Joker scenes. The "Do you feel in charge" scene with Ben Mendelsohn remains a favourite.

Actually there is a huge problem..You see the 1.0 shirt was tailored for a much much smaller body. It won't fit this one, at least without stretching/tearing or looking like a compression shirt instead that is

A separate super-deluxe version could have included the Stock Exchange outfit and that final fight shirt he had on. Though maybe so many people would consider those important that almost no one would buy the non-deluxe.

Again, so cool they're incorporating the rolling eyes in more figures, surely to become more of a mainstay feature for forthcoming releases.

I'm not yet convinced it's a good thing - what evidence do we have yet that it will actually be executed better than it used to be on DXes of the past which had those excessively thick eyelids and resulting excess shadow in the eyes that threw off realism and likenesses? And it is afterall the weakest aspect of the Inart Joker headsculpts. That figure is again a case where he can just about get away with it for most people because of the black eye makeup but what if he didn't have that. So, as good as figures like Anakin and Padme and the new Tom Holland Spiderman look at prototype stage, the eyes may not come out so well at mass production.

Even in this thread I think it’s a minority that didn’t like it. Don’t let their vocalness mislead you. This is the second best reviewed Batman movie ever and it’s my personal favorite. For some reason there’s a lot of haters that can’t let things go about this film. Only they know why they do it, but for some reason they feel empowered to say the consensus is it’s a bad movie when all indicators say the opposite.

TDKR is actually my favourite of the trilogy.

New body looks good. Still has trash articulation compared to a TBLeague body. Definitely getting this.
Still pissed they put effort into upgrading this but actually made Batman Begins worse.

I know this is sort of off topic, but if anyone has watched Koala Man, it's pretty fun and riffs on the superhero genre pretty well with a very TDKRises final act for season 1. This figure and the narrative parallels in Koala Man have really gotten me thinking.

There's something special Nolan created by daring to make a movie that wallows in Batman's absence both at the beginning of the film when he is in self exile, and at the middle when he is in the pit. Seeing a city that's mysteriously lost it's hero while a liar takes over in the name of liberty, only to see that hero return and be triumphant.

The whole movie is focused on the impact Batman has had on others. When he is gone and blamed for murders people still believed in him and wished for his return. The villains and side characters are all deeply influenced by Batman. Talia and Bane are obsessed with defeating Batman because of his efforts to clean up Gotham. Selina and Blake both have their own character arcs showing how Batman has inspired them with Selina acting selflessly and Blake casting away his belief in authority.

It's wild to me that anyone would say Batman is overshadowed by the villains in this trilogy. Even when he's absent his presence is like a ghost over Gotham.

My problems with TDKR are all down to the way Batman is portrayed. Always enjoyed Hardy's Bane so I'll likely pick this one up unless InArt reveal their's before next year.
