If it's any consolation, I don't have a great track record with creating threads. In fact I don't think I've ever attempted to create a thread calling for a different innovation or business model from any company. All my threads have been pretty safe product announcements, or lame emo threads about hiding the cost of figures from loved ones.

And while you emerge from the experience without the respect you so desperately crave, you are better equipped to win respect with your next thread.

I still don't understand half you idiots calling this thread a Fail?

If you actually read what the first post says , its a pretty damn good idea IMO , with the current prices on HT figs , this would be a breath of fresh air . And also now that the TrueTypes no longer come with "generic" head sculpts but still charge the same amount and higher , whats the problem ? How is it a fail?

It's a freaking poll thread , just answer the poll and move on .

It's a simple frickin question with simple answers , how hard is to just click that little button without running your mouths?

I only just made that topic about model kit painting. You can't judge it yet, it might take off soon and be as popular as the 'Last Figure Bought' thread.

Those other threads are from the past, that's when I was a loner with nothing to lose. I thought I could run through the forum alone, that I didn't need anybody's respect, but believe when I say I've grown a lot since then. Now, just like The Skull, I'm all about getting respect.

Relax guys, remember this is a hobby, for fun and about toys. As for Mr. ecko he has made some great points, thanks for your support buddy He gets what this thread is about, he likes the idea and frankly other members of the freaks would actually post ideas and join in this thread if it were not for the bad vibe that has been created by the trolling and disrespectful additude by some people.

I willingly accept opposition to my idea, thats cool and why I made it a poll thread. But this thread has become hostel unfortunitly, please refrain and use your better judgement going forward

I get what this thread is about. I think we all get what this thread is about. There's no actual opposition to your idea. You're asking people if they'd like more HT figures at lower prices, the only catch being less accessories and less fancy box. Who is gonna disagree with that? It's a crazy question. There's no real negative.

I mean, do you really think someone gonna come along and say, 'Hell no, man, I'm not paying 50 - 75% less than I'm normally paying if it means I have to give up some minor extras. No way, man, I need that box and a few accessories. I'm willing to pay a lot for them.'? Really?

This is not bad vibes, this is not anything. It's like if I started a thread asking if people would like it if figures only cost $25 but they came in a shopping bag instead of a box. How is that an idea to get behind or anything to really discuss? How about asking if people would like it if figures cost exactly the same as now but they came with 10 different head sculpts and 10 costumes? Poll: Yes or No? No negative, you see, just crazy questions...
