Keeping up with all of my pre-orders, postponing some payments and not others, so that I have the sufficient funds each month has made me realize that I am a FINANCIAL GENIUS.
Breaking this down into 15 small, monthly payments means I won’t even realise how much money I’m squandering away on a giant hot wheels that I don’t have room for.

I just don't have room inside to display this. Maybe I'll keep it in the back yard and have my German shepherd guard it.
Make sure he wears the mask or people will recognize him.

Such a good boy!

Guys seriousl question. Would it be worth it to get the old one? I mean, have they made any improvements to this at all? I think they shortened the length of the car and thats it. But if I'm wrong please correct me

They changed nothing on this reissue except not include the flimsy cheap shield. If you can get the old version for a cheaper price, by all means.

【Batman (1989) - 1/6th scale Batmobile Collectible】

The Batmobile is Batman’s primary mode of transportation, also one of the most daunting components in his vast arsenal, keeping it stored in the Batcave when not in use. The vehicle's popularity with fans has established a strong following and easily ranks with the 1966 Batmobile as one of the most popular Batmobiles of all time.

Inspired by the appearance of Batmobile in Tim Burton’s live-action movie Batman (1989), Hot Toys is launching the legendary ride as 1/6th scale collectible.

The screen-accurate Batmobile measures approximately 100cm is fully designed to capture the mechanical design and painting bringing the remarkable Bat vehicle to reality. Features an incredible amount of details such as the slide-open canopy door; head and taillights, jet engine and dashboard panel with LED light up function; rotatable wheels; gadgets including the side-mounted batdisc launchers, machine guns, grappling hooks and shinbreakers, and a rotary base to recreate scene in the Batcave.

The Batmobile is going to make an awesome addition to your Bat collection!

Who's getting this?

Agreed. It's a straight re release. Easy money for Hot Toys.

I was thinking of this, but Jazzinc is what I would get if need a better version.

I got the original batmobile shipped for 700 and the new one seems to be a thousand. Shipping tax ect included.

That's a good 35 percent price increase or so if you think about it.

Although truth is the 89 Batmobile is enough of a nod to the originals.

Was the old version painted or was it just black plastic? I ask because they seem to making a point of mentioning the black paint this time around, and in their release pics the finish doesn't look as dull as the old one.

Is there actually a place that has a 15 monthly payment plan???

There is in the U.K. I’m buying from Collectibkes Direct and I’m talking about the HT Batmobile, not JazzInc- because we’re in the HT thread.

It’s a layaway payment plan so you just pay off an amount of your choosing whenever you feel like it up until release.
15 months was my estimate until the Batmobile is available so, if it release early, I assume they’ll inform me that I can pay it all off or just carry on at my own pace.
Things take forever to show up in the U.K. so I’m pretty sure 15 months is a safe bet.

I just went to the WB Studio tour in Hollywood and they swapped out the tumbler for 89 Batman Batmobile because of the flash but it has the returns wipers and this is totally dark grey and not black, hot toys need to visit this museum 😍 when you see it in person it’s grey for sure.

Plus seeing the lights in person the bulbs are yellow but the cover itself was clear 🫣

That appears to be a mold for the 89/92 Batmobile that hasn't been painted black, that's why it's grey in color...........:)
