Did you buy the hands and head from the same seller? I was able to get my Scarecrow hands, head, and Straight Jacket from angeljuliaa on eBay. Of course that was before they raised their prices on everything Scarecrow related.

Head and boots from angeljulia and hands were from m.y.online. They both have the straight jacket for pretty pricey cost. :( Overall I am happy with both sellers. Shipping time from payment to arrival wasn't bad, about 1 1/2 week at the most.

Cooltoyreview is a great friggin website.

So I think I've decided to just buy the demon batman as the representative of the BB suit. it's evil.

Is there any way to turn the Demon Bats into an Original Cotume Batman? I was thinking of using a very fine grain sandpaper like emory cloth to sand down the weathering, then apply rubber filler to cover up the sanding. Maybe finish up with a coat of paint.

I would strongly advise against it. As the rubber would not "sand" in the traditional sense. I'm speaking from experience here. I thought I could snd the details out of a Dragon Skin mold I had made and all it did was tear a hole in the mold, well acttually, I melted a hole in it, I was using a rotary tool. Please feel free to correct me if it can be done, (I mean anyone, really) as I'm just going from my own account. I hope if you attempt it that you have better luck than I did.

I think the problem is the rotary tool. I could see where that would be too much and cause tearing. Im hoping if I use emorry paper and hand sand it, the force will be gentle enough for the costume to take it.

"They never tried to market it to the billionaire, spelunking, base-jumping crowd"

Seriously, keep us posted. It may make a future project of mine much easier.

My two cents is that I advise against this.

But am interested to hear how it goes if you go through with it.

I'm with Mag...I don't think it will work.

I think it would be a good experiment if you could find one damaged and basically junk and try it. But to buy one new and try to smooth it out, I just don't see it happening.

Just played a little with my figures today... Posing here, adding a different weapon there... I realized Demon Bats looks redicoulously small next to almost every figure... Also posing him in a decent way is quite tricky and frustrating as there isnt really a cool pose you can get. Generic standing doesnt fit the character and any kind of dynamic poses dont last very long as either the figure wont stay in that pose or I fear the pose could cause damage to the rubber suit... Kind of annoying however still a great figure and a even better concept... :dunno

^^ Sorry I'm not Chris but that is the Nolan Bane, played by Tom Hardy which I'm sure you all ready knew but Bane was revealed today. Awesome huh. Exciting day for Dc fans with the HT Superman being revealed today as well, well half revealed anyway :)

I already like the design. Is that a skeletal hand on his face mask?

Yeah it is, if you look at the full picture, I see it on Empire's site but there's also a cats eye in the dark to the left. Really excited about this film. Bane will be a cool HT figure huh, think HT may have to design a new body for him though.
