i received mine from AmiAmi today, glad I didn't have to pay custom total to about $280 for 2 figures, that's below retail if I'm not mistaken, pretty sweet deal

I read somewhere that Japan->US has no import taxes on hobby products. So that might apply here.

I decided to order a second set, can't beat the price. I paid $380 something shipped when it first came out and from what I recall that was pretty much the best deal you could get.

While I don't need 2 Demon Batman figures, I did want two different Scarecrows. I think the new Batman/Bruce Wayne along with the great price influenced my decision to get this.

Also, I ordered and all I got was an email. Do I have to wait for them to send me something before I can actually buy it? All I got was an acknowledgment.

Just wanted to update anyone that's interested in Amiami.jp..

I just received it. That's faster than UPS ground from NY. Although, the shipping was about $80.

The figures were sealed in the hot toys brown box. That was shipped in a larger box with paper as padding. I have no complaints. I checked the figures and everything looks fine. I haven't taken them out yet.

I ordered my set about 20 minutes after the Batman/Bruce thread popped up last night.

I'm kind of shocked these are still in stock. There have been enough people vouching for AmiAmi around here and the price is certainly right.

Scarecrow was a villain in the first film and Demon Batman appeared in it as well. If someone grabbed the new Batman, they might seek those out too, given it's the only official release of Scarecrow.

I would think that some that didn't have the original costume version before probably wouldn't really want to have a Demon Batman with no regular OC Batman, so that might have influenced some peoples' decision to get the set.

Well, the answer is threefold (and obviously, I can only speak for myself) but first of all...

Scarecrow was a villain in the first film and Demon Batman appeared in it as well. If someone grabbed the new Batman, they might seek those out too, given it's the only official release of Scarecrow.

...'Nam is correct. Scarecrow, Demon Bats and "First Night Out" Bruce Wayne are all Batman Begins figures and I'm a huge fan of Batman Begins. So there's that.

Secondly, there was a lot of speculation recently that the Scarecrow set was going to be re-released as the "Fairs" exclusive. Because of that, I was hesitant to order from an overseas company I hadn't done business with before; Once it was officially announced that the exclusive was going to be Wayne (by that point in this thread, AmiAmi had a few people vouching for them), that hesitation flew right out the window.

Lastly, the price. No way would I have bitten at $300+. I'm a huge Begins fan, but everyone has their limit.

Regardless of if these figures will end up selling out or end up worth more that's a great price for the two. I'd buy them if I was collecting the line.
