I love these figures but Scarecrow's straight jacket kind of pisses me off. I was carefully trying to remove it to see how I liked his look with just the normal suit and the snaps are all busted except like two. I'm just leaving the stupid thing on him. :(

Yeah, Hot Toys really cheaped out with those little plastic snaps. They should've used stronger ones - either thicker plastic or metal snaps. I can't believe the extra few cents they would've spent matters to them THAT much.

if it were built today, it probably would have been more robust.

Why? What makes you think that? It's not like Hot Toys was inexperienced and just didn't know any better at the time.

They'd used metal clasps before (as with DX01 Joker). They just decided to cheap out this time (and it isn't the first time their choices and product quality have degraded over time, presumably for cost purposes).

i think that because they are always improving the product and things they didn't know then (like rubber suits are a bad idea) are things they know now.

experience is a never-ending growth. no they are not newbies, but they are still experimenting and learning.

does bane have cheap plastic buckles on his belt?

But using plastic snaps is going backwards? Not improving the product.

I wish there was some way to fix it sort of. It doesn't really bother me so much I guess seeing as it's on the back of the jacket and not really seen but it's still sort of annoying.

anyone want to purchase a demon bats...i got one when i purchased scarecrow..PM me!

I will sell outright or trade for hawkeye

I've been wanting to do this for a while now but never tried it due to the lack of a fisted hand. I was gonna take the plunge on eBay but a recent figure I bought came with fists! Now that I've done it, not sure if I like it. Any tips for improvement? Anyone else try this pose before? It looks too much like cotton instead of gas. I wonder what else I could use? Will painting it gray help? I think the gas is white in the movie.

Sorry for the bad pics. iPad is all I have access to usually as far as cameras to.

Looks good to me! How's the view from the front? It looks like he would be covered up a lot behind the big ball of cotton. :lol

I'd maybe mix it with colored cotton. Maybe a little green and yellow.

From the side it's cool. But I took it out and think its better. From straight on, it looked silly. And with three figures per shelf, it took up too much space. If I did one or two figures per shelf, I think it'd work better.

All I did was took cotton ball, pulled them to become long and wispy, wound them around a half of a bent paperclip to give it support to be held up, and stuck that down the Scarecrow's sleeve.

I think adding some grayish/yellowish tints would have helped. Dunno. But it's a free mod if you've got the supplies in your house.
