God, its just straight annoying to read through this thread. You're all a bunch of whiners. So a few figures ended up having problems, so what. That doesnt mean you should throw a tantrum like little children. We all spent the same amount of money, YOURE NOT SPECIAL. You all sound like you believe you should be getting a flawless diamond, like you deserve something special, not a handmade figure. Half of you have been debating whether to cancel or not for days and for some reason seem expect people to give you reasons not to, and to the point where some of you complain on other completely unrelated threads. If you want the damn figure than wait it out. If you get a dud, return it...and get your money back. Otherwise if you have problems and dont feel comfortable with keeping the order...CANCEL and GTFO. End of story.

For this price, i don't want a batman standing waiting for the bus, i want a dynamic batman in a fight.

I only want this figure for that pose, if HT can't manage that i'm cancelling.

That pose will likely not cause tears in the suit. I'm sure it will do just fine. Had my TDK OC in a similar position for quite some time. That's assuming the quality of rubber is the same, which of course is a matter of debate.

What that pose will do is cause a crease in the area that are pinched. Over time, they might fade out but they might not.

Other than that, all these figs will degrade so you might as well enjoy it.

The only figures I had degrade in my 35 years were my 80's 3 3/4 G.I Joe's thanks to a hot/cold attic and my parents storing them there when I moved out (not their fault, mine). All their rubber bands at the waist snapped.

I don't think enough of you realize the severity of the problems with this figure. If you end up buying it, it will not only deteriorate, but it will cause your marriage to end and your children to develop drug problems.

If I were any of you, I'd quickly cancel my preorder and instruct my friends to do the same.

No seriously. Cancel your order with Sideshow. My waitlist order hasn't converted yet.

I say NO to drugs! CANCELLED!

You guys really think that some of these figures wont last for 10 years? Thats a pretty upsetting thought.

I find it kind of strange that people (myself included) spend hundreds to thousands of dollars on phones, computers, gaming systems, vehicles etc. but only expect them to last a few years, yet they expect collectibles to last forever.

I have to say, as much as I love Batman Begins and as much as I love Hot Toys, I am going to cancel this one. While I have never had any problems with my TDK Batman figures or my other rubber body figures like Dutch, I can't say that they are favorites in my collection because I never touch them out of fear of something getting ruined on them.

While I don't bang my toys together and tie plastic bags to their shoulders as parachutes and throw them off the balcony like I did when I was a kid anymore, I do like to pose my figures and take pictures of them without having to worry about, ripping, leaking, flaking, melting and whatever other issues these suits have. If I wanted to collect static figures I would collect statues and premium format figures.

I really hope I am wrong about this and the figure turns out awesome so you guys can enjoy it, but for me I am just not willing to take that chance. Looks like with the money I am going to save I am going to track down a Kenner Batman Returns Command Center instead.
