@SSC EX Hunter: Not really. Unless you place the case in contact with direct sunlight outdoors or under a high wattage incandescent bulb, then maybe. Air tight cases are really good for keeping out moistire and dust though. I have a few of them and never had any problems.

I know this isn't really the place for this question, but since the other thread is locked I'm going to ask here.

What's up with the bat emblem on the chest. In the movie at times it appears a tiny bit glossy, like a satin sheen. However when I look at pics of the prop suit in the London film museum the bat emblem looks just as matt as the rest of the suit.

Now I know the gauntlets and boots are pretty glossy, and as far as I can tell this figure has those pieces with the same flat rubber finish the rest of the suit has. I'm contemplating painting them, but won't decide until I have this figure in-hand.

If the emblem is indeed a touch glossy I'm thinking the fix might be as simple as removing the flat rubber finish they applied.

On the bat emblem in Begins I seemed to notice how at times it would look small and times where it looked bigger but maybe its just my eyes. Anyways people shouldn't get so butt hurt (no pun intended) about this I mean look at Batman's butt from Batman & Robin its all glossy and shiny :D.

so has anyone contacted sideshow and asked them to contact hot toys about this problem, im sure if sideshow is notified they would look into the matter now , rather than go thru the hassle of replacing orderes later,,the whole point of this thread was to let hot toys and sideshow become aware that such a problem could exist and give them enough time to take care of it,

Well, since you started the conversation, you can shoot their customer service an email with a link to this thread, and to the Facebook photo :lol. I'll support you. I still believe that the problem has been grossly over-exaggerated, because people were mishandling their figures, and causing stress in the rubber suit. But, nevertheless, contacting Sideshow is a good idea. Just to alert them of the problem, and if they can ask
Hot Toys to do some additional QC before shipping these figures out.

well , as a matter of fact, this is my first order from them and have no idea how to forward these to them , im sure some regular customers who have the experience of buying regularly from sideshow and know hassle of replacing defective items with them will be better off contacting them , than me who has just placed his first order..

COuld someone also report the crotch problem to hot toys? because if i end up getting one I dont want it to be too late to fix that, and end up having a Batman with a major bohner.. lol

Sold out... let's see the regrets start pouring in.

Missed the first time? Okay. The second time? Forgiven. But the third? ____ off! No more begins suit for you!

I tend to keep figures posed quite blandly so wear on the suit would not be an issue. However, Hot Toys do need to address this. It should not be a case of 5 or 6 complaints amongst several thousand is ok. It is not for the people stuck with a duff figure. We all know that Hot Toys are capable of great things and that should be the case with every figure for every customer. They are not the cheapest of things to buy after all. I would be "whining" like there is no tomorrow if after getting one of these it turned out to have a bad suit. The crotch is just odd! :lol
