Yep definitely going to get Superman. I owned the MOS Version and loved it but decided to sell it since I knew a BVS version would come out and I like the suit color better in this film. Oh and hopefully Hot Toys fixes the height issue this time around.

I'm with you on this but if they don't fix the height (and hopefully head size) issue(s), I'm going to pick up the suit and boots loose.

I like how Superman is relaxed, like "he can't do **** to me" and Batman and WW are clenching hard :lol

I liked that too. Supes said in the trailer pretty much what everyone's first reaction is when they hear "Batman vs. Superman". "If I wanted it, you'd be dead already." Supes kind of seemed a little cocky to me, which kind of does make sense at this point in his growing curve. In MoS, he was essentially coming to grips with his powers and was suddenly thrust into action. Now that he knows what he's fully capable of, it makes sense that he'd have a bit of that "nobody can do ***** to me" mentality. I presume we'll see him mature even more in this film as it goes on. I like what Snyder is doing with Supes, as it's the first rendition of him that actually shows him having a learning curve and that merely putting on a suit emblazoned with a "S" doesn't by default mean he knows exactly how he's supposed to act and has the answer for everything in every situation.

I personally thought last night's trailer looked pretty good. I thought Cavill and Affleck both looked great in their roles. When Eisenberg was first cast as Lex Luthor I was dubious, and while I still sort of am, I thought he seemed decent in last night's trailer; enough to be open minded enough to watch the film before I make a final judgment on him. The way he interrupted the interaction between Clark Kent and Bruce Wayne I thought was pretty funny.

It seems everyone can't get over the way Doomsday looks in this, because that's not how he traditionally looks and the one depicted in last night's trailer essentially looks like an exprimentation gone wrong. As Motuxmen has stated, that's the point. They went for a different approach with this, where Zod's corpse was experimented on by a psychopahtic business mogul, and this is the result. The traditional Doomsday is an ancient Kryptonian creature that wasn't birthed from General Zod's corpse.

Overall, I have to say it was pretty much precisely what I expected. I wasn't overly blown away, but I was far from being disappointed, like what most people are saying. Other than showing Doomsday and more Lex footage, it didn't show me anything different than I wasn't already expecting to see in this film as far as the plot goes that has already been laid out in previous trailers that would cause me to be any less interested. It still very much has my interest.

The bases for the figures look really cool. I expect there to be at least 3 Batmans, 1 Supes, and 1 Wonder Woman. I think from this film, I'll definitely at least be getting another Supes and a Batman in his regular suit.

Curious to see the Gadot WW HS, I'm guessing HT won't skip her. I may end up skipping the BvS line and wait for the WW and Batman solo films. Not a huge fan of the new Batsuit, so gonna wait to see if they do a redesign later. I'm keeping my MoS figure, not enough of a change in the BvS redesign plus I actually like the MoS version more.

As a Batman fan, this trailer did not upstage Civil War. Cavill Superman is still good. The fight between him and Batman should be good. WW looks good. The rest of it...not so good

I'm not discouraged. Just underwhelmed.
The last trailer literally gave me goosebumps. And I trust Snyder when it comes to visuals.
But Doomsday is the first time I feel he's off. Like when I first saw his superman, and when we first see Affleck as batman. or when we first see Gal as wonderwoman...I was hoping for that same reaction.
Doomsday is a dream come true for me as the Death of Superman is one of the best Superman storyline, but I share the
same sentiment as most people...That's it? He didnt look ominous.

I'm extremely open minded, and even when people were ragging on Gadot, I knew a lot of people would be eating crow, cause even in the beginning, I can see that she would look the part. She's beautiful.

From what I understand, the director doesnt really make these Trailers...so whoever did the cut, and music, and editing on that trailer did an underwhelming presentation.
I'm still gonna see this day one. Probably midnight showing.

I don't like the visuals at all. Now I understand that certain things necessarily have to be CGI but Snyder appears to be going full-Lucas - everything looks CGI, the entire environment as well as the combatants. That's a problem, it makes the film look like a computer game.

And Doomsday, he looks like something we've essentially seen before in previous movie monsters, not distinctive in any way really. But worse than that it seems like he'll just be a plot device in the last 15 minutes of this movie to unite the heroes. He surely warrants a Superman film of his own given the story he comes from. Seems like a waste to use him here, in a movie called Batman V Superman - a film which is the first time we're seeing this particular Batman, the first time we're ever seeing Batman AND Superman in the same film, the first time we're seeing Wonder Woman in a movie. It's trying to cram too much in.

Anyway, it is what it is.

Yep. Hope Doomsday does not die and hangs around to fight Superman in his own film. Doubt it will happen though.

I'll be getting Supes, atleast one version of Bats and Wondy for sure. I just hope they get their female sculpting on point for WW. I don't want her to look like a zombie or mannequin with dead eyes. And i'm a little afraid that she's too pretty that she'll end up looking like a Barbie too.

Doomsday and the plot surrounding him is the entire third act, and what you see in the trailer is his, for lack of a better word, "newborn" form.

Dont judge so fast a trailer wich raise more questions than aswers. We've seen different things from every trailer and lex luthor is awesome, I heavily think that he is just acting wierd and he will be very serious and better than kevin Spacey. Doomsday looks ugly but i'll reserve my judgement till the movie comes out. Affleck will be awesome.

I love the bat-suits (armored and regular - not sold on Knightmare Bats yet), so that's all that matters to me when it comes to figures. I've been waiting for years for a movie two-toned non-black batsuit, and I'm definitely buying Batman and armored Batman. Can't wait to see the reveals!

No matter how amazing this movie is (I don't have my hopes up, as I wasn't a fan of 300, Watchmen, Man of Steel, or his zombie movie), it still won't be the best all-time Batman movie to me. Nostalgia for the Burton movies is too impossible to overcome for me personally. So knowing that, the pressure for this movie to be "amazing" is off for me, and I just want a couple new Batmen for my "history of Batman in the movies" display from a hopefully decent film.

(This is coming from the guy that even wants a Clooney Batman, so I'll admit my bias for the character right now...)

I like Affleck's Bruce Wayne. Not sure about his Batman. For some reason that Bat-suit just makes him look chubby.

Wonder Woman looks incredible. Hopefully Hot Toys knocks her likeness out of the park and gives her a fierce warrior expression, not the glassy-eyed mannequin look.

I loved the Burtoon films - Keaton was surprisingly great... however as a fan of many years the 'Batman' he portrayed wasn't truly 'Batman', it was more an 'Elseworlds' Burtonesque fantasy version.
I'll reserve full judgement till after the film, but from everything i've seen... and now heard... so far, Affleck is the definitive on-screen Batman. The suit is incredible, the Batmobile is incredible, his movement looks amazing, his Bruce Wayne looks perfect and his Bat-voice sounds great. The interactions between Clark/Bruce and Batman/Superman were fantastic too!
For me, Standard suit Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman are a must!

I can't wait for a Lex Luthor figure...he was so awesome!!!!!!!!!!

Good point.

It's entirely possible that what was shown in the trailer was merely an early stage of Doomsday, and that he may evolve into something bigger as the film progresses, or even throughout the DCCU. For instance, if we were shown an AoU trailer and the only footage of Ultron shown in the trailer was him in his Ultron Mk I form, people would have been very incorrect if they presumed that was what he was going to look like. He evolved throughout the entire film. It's not far fetched to think that Doomsday may possibly do the same.

Trailers should raise more questions rather than answer questions, as juanca33 mentioned. Even though I was far from disappointed because I wasn't really shown anything different (other than Doomsday and more Lex footage) than what I wasn't already expecting from this film, I will concede that I did enjoy the previous two trailers a little more, as I thought they had a better flow to them. This one didn't seem to be pieced together all that well. It still kept my interest level high though and did nothing to change that.

yes, we have a whole dcu coming up over the next few years i'm sure everything is connecting now with the launch of this film. it's the same reason why i didn't have a fit about WW's costume not being bright enough, it's her first incarnation, she is appearing in 4 films over the next 3 years, everyone needs to just chill and let the story unfold throughout the films.
