^Keaton was the only Batman that would think like that.

All the others wore Batman as a mask, a persona that they had to dress up and become. Kilmer and Clooney played Bruce Wayne as Batman. I remember loving the end of Batman Begins with Bale where Rachel was like, "this is your mask" as she touched his face and that the real him was Batman. I thought that was great. Then we find out that the whole Batman gig is just a temporary thing Bruce wants to give up and later, pass on. Oh well.

I think Affleck will be great. I expect a mean, pissed off Batman that is Batman 24/7 in and out of costume.

That's true, he was already looking for a way out in TDK :lol

Bats is a method actor, he gets so into his role that he acts like a bat even when no one's there. :lol

Umm yeah, because when he puts on the mask he's no longer a person-he's a symbol of the fear he wants to install in people?
Have you ever read or watched any batman comic or film?
That right there is why batman is so conflicted, he's not like superman.
He doesn't do it out of choice so he purposely splits his persona.
He's pretty much a
Psychopath but with a very driven path to fight criminals which is why him and the joker are the perfect adversaries.
Duh

Actually, he does...or he should. In the Batman Beyond cartoon there is an episode where this villain is trying to drive Bruce Wayne crazy by putting voices in his head...however, the voice kept calling him Bruce, and at the end of the episode, Bruce Wayne says that he knew he wasn't really crazy because the fake voice kept calling him Bruce, and in in his head, he does not call himself Bruce Wayne, he's Batman.

God bless Bruce Timm and Paul Dini for these awesome cartoons.

Not hot toys related but its still within the batman v superman merch.

Kinda' wish we were getting his solo films first. I believe in Batfleck.

I'm very curious how they'll balance a human batman in this world with crazy superpowers. And then how they'd even follow that with another grounded Batman story!!??

A very daunting task indeed

I kinda hope Hot Toys puts in electronic features with their regular and Armored Affleck Batman figures so they can talk.

Batman has a bunch of lines that are going to be iconic and Miller-esque that people are going to love. This new cowl that synthesizes the wearer's voice to mask their vocal/speech patterns would make for a great talking/remote feature (granted Hot Toys does away with that ridiculous 15 min reset crap they implemented for their Robocop and Darth Vader) for their figures, especially the Armored anti-Supes Batman that will no doubt have LED eyes.

Normally I'm against "talking" electronic features because they make these seem toyish and I barely use them more than once, but I loved it on Hot Toys Robocop. The voices coming out of that chest plate sounds so robotic and cool. Batman would be the perfect candidate to push that to the next level with some great lines from the movie.

No... just no. Especially since most of the lines I've heard so far sound corny. The last trailer has put the fear back in me that this might end up being a hot mess.

You're no fun!

By Spring I think the voice is going to be well received. People are going to be quoting him often and the lines will be all over graphic tees.

The voice is going to be a big part of the movie. Would be cool to see an Alfred figure with some Batcave dio pieces including this thing,

I want to see Batman overtake and swallow up all this Iron Man garbage. The Affleck Batman might just be the one to do it depending on the franchises future.

I really want that glorious mask! I hope they make a 1:1 for sale *please please please*

A 1/12 would be cool, I can't tell if that fits under the normal mask or just the robot suit
