Hi Guys,
I am new to the world of collectables and have started with a Hot Toys Joker Bank Robber.

My question is this, can I build up a second figure using the alternate outfit that comes in the box. I have noticed there are TrueType bodies for sale on ebay like this one HERE

Are these genuine hot toys, and can I simply attach the other parts in my set to it?

I noticed there are different types of TrueType body, would this be the correct one for the Joker?

The true type body in that link does not include any feet or hand pegs or the neck joint. That body is perfect for Hot Toys clothing but if you wish to make a completely separate figure you will need the pegs in order to attach a head,feet and shoes. The body in the link has been *parted out*..the head, pegs, feet and hands have been removed and are being sold separtely

you get everything in the complete set..as well as a stand.

The Joker's clothes, hands, shoes and head were designed for the true type body. There are two types...regular shoulder and narrowed shoulder true types. Narrowed shoulder means he is slimmer..the clothes will sit more realsitically. I prefer the normal body for joker because Heath had broad shoulders in the film!

Do you know if you can purchase shoes seperately, as this joker only comes with one pair I think?

Also any ideas when the new Police Joker will be released?

Bank Robber Joker comes with one body, one set of clothes..multiple gloved hands and two heads. Check ebay... many sellers on ebay sell just individual items like shoes, hands, jackets, heads, guns etc...just type in "Hot Toys Joker" or "Hot Toys Dark Knight" and set your search to worldwide - most items are in Hong Kong.

The police Joker should be August we believe but it may get delayed. You may want to get another True Type in preparation for Cop Joker as he comes with an improved suit and headsculpt as well as all his cop gear.

Can't wait to get mine!

Price is good as it includes the spare true type but I wouldnt trust pre orders on ebay. I'm going to wait until the fig is released and do a *buy it now*. heard lots of horror stories about people losing money on ebay pre order

I tend to avoid pre-orders on eBay too, but goodshipped have always been great with me.

If you think that's a good price, go for it. Goodshipped is a reputable dealer. I don't foresee any problems.

I guess what Yellow Joshua is referring to are pre-orders that transgress ebay policy, i.e. go beyond ebays 45 day rule in which to lodge a dispute. Many do, and it's a chance you take, but the BR Joker is likely in stock, as they have been out for a while, and the Tru Type narrow shoulders is likely to be in stock shortly, as the auction states it will be shipped within 30 days.

Just ask the seller a question to allay your fears.

I didn't check that. It does say one available and that someone has bought one. Ask the seller anyway, you never know for sure till you do.

Oh really, would you reccomend getting the originals or the re-releases?
I guess the originals will be worth more?

The only shots of the new ones appear to be the promo shots for the originals.

I am guessing that they will be exactly the same as the originals but perhaps with different boxes. Imagine they wil drive the originals prices down, but the originals will likely still be the most sought after.

Personally, I still have one original Tiger Stripe which I will never sell.

Wouldnt they make the older ones more expensive? Do you think £100 is a good price for a current complete Medicome Zombie Squares Snake?

Personally, I feel that most collectors will just be interested in getting 'a Snake', not specifically the orginal. Therefore more Snakes will drive down the originals price, which rose due to the limited numbers.

I would snap that up at that price. BARGAIN!
