Word of caution for you guys. Be extremely careful when swapping the heads out. Mine got stuck and yah... it's not like you can really hold anything tightly because the rubber suit isn't really on tight. By the time I finally swapped things out, I found that I've damaged the suit.

whats the best way of swapping the heads out without damaging it?

Mine's got the exact same shiny spot. Same exact location.


And some have commented on my head swappin'. What I did was use the neck from the Dark Knight hot toys so I could keep the Christian Bale head with its own neck.

Turns out that the bottom hole of the neck is slightly smaller than the new one so it took more effort to remove. And when I looked at the pics later, that's when I realized that I had damaged it. I didn't really notice it at the time.


So...best word of advice. Dont' cross the streams. neck streams that is.

Don't mean to cause panic, but does it seem to you guys that out of the package, his neck or the suit seems to be crooked in the way it lines with the head? I have seen some pictures that look like the right side of the suit collar is touching his neck and there is a noticeable amount of room on the left side. Is it just me or could this be from the neck brace HT uses to secure the figure in place (which seems totally useless anyways)?

The suit moves from side to side, in other words it can be adjusted/futzed.

yes, mine was crooked. What it is is the plate on one of the slots for the cape got caught on the plastic mold at the base of the neck. Need to free that.

Got mine today, everything was great no dent issues but the left boot just fell off when I took the fig from the package. Ankle peg is ok its just the boot its missing something inside where the peg should lock on/clip on.

This makes me shake my head in dissapointment. My first Hot Toys order through Sideshow as well as my first Batman figure and this is what happens. How can I trust Hot Toys after such a mess up. Still, mine hasn't come yet so I still have some hope that all will be well.

I had the same issue with my left boot (right when facing him). I went to SSC live chat today and requested for a replacement. SSC will ship a replacement boot in 3-4 days.

I know the DX body is black coloured, and that picture looks like rubber has ripped apart

Yeah, pretty sure that's just the black TT showing through.

Mine is left - right side when looking at him LOL.

At least its not all right boot or all left boot else sideshow might run out. I was told to wait for 3-5 days for a call back and they will try to just send me a left boot.

But still for the amount we pay for this stuff a liitle attention to QC won't hurt. Lately its becoming more of a thrill of opening a new HT figure and hoping you get lucky and no major issue befall your figure.
