Hot Toys Bruce Wayne/Batman (2011 Toy Con Ex) review + pics

Can anyone give me some advice on what I need to do to reconnect the foot or remove the boot on my figure? It seems the right ankle is either loose or broken. I have contacted Sideshow, but I have no idea what is or is not removable on the figure and how I should go about trying to fix or replace the right foot/boot if Sideshow sends me a replacement. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Do you need to take anything off to check it?

I dont have any other batman figures to compare it to so please help me know what to look out for

Iv been trying to find the answer through this thread but haven't seen it but does anyone know if the Batman Cowl head from this figure fits on the old HT OC Bats figure?

That lforigno cape gave me an assgasm, I think about the stock cape to make my erection last longer.

Any chance waitinglist order would convert if I did today?

Mines completely fine QC wise but I've decided to display him with his cape & cowl. I don't know if it's just mine but I can't for the love of god, get that dam cape to click in

It's hard. I looked underneath and there's barely anything to click on to. I think it is barely held on by the pin and that the cowl (once you put it on) is the one that keeps the cape secured.

I guess, after Maglor pointed it out for another guy, both kneepads on mine are off center.

Seriously wtf HT... Has anyone monitored whether there are complaints on HTs Facebook page? There had better be! I hope every single one of you that has received a defective figure complains on their FB page!

Got off the phone with SSC, I guess their gonna send me an e-mail asking me to take pictures? WTF? How do you take pictures of a broken joint inside a boot , I hope I don't have to send the entire figure back, hopefully they'll just send me a boot.

Did you try to explain to them that it's virtually impossible to take a picture of the problem? SSC customer service is some of the best i've ever come across, but that's just stupid!

She said "they are going to send you an e-mail and we'll go from there, they will most likely ask you to take a picture of your broken boot if you have the option to."



Does SS usually make you return the whole figure, or do they have spair parts void?

This is the first thing i've bought from SSC (but been very impressed by the CS helping me sort out ordering this figure and having it delivered to my cousin's place in the US) but I understand that normally you can return the faulty part, I may be wrong.

I hope not!

I spoke to Sideshow customer service as well, they asked me send pictures of the boots. I did explain that its impossible to get a clear picture of the inside of the boots but the guy said do the best you can and we'll take it from there.

Any tips for getting the cape on and off without screwing up the top of the suit or cape clips? Also, how have people added the holes into the lForigno capes? Thanks!

damn, didnt catch that, is there anyway to centre it? tried to move it but it pretty set as is, doesnt really bother me that much tho

sorry wish I can help u out but I don't own any Hot Toys batman yet. The Bruce Wayne/Batman will be my 1st Hot Toys batman. He will be here tomorrow!!

You might want to contact Sideshow for a replacment! If that was mine Batman I will not accept it.

Hi all,

Same issues on mine, broken joint on left boot, off-centered knee pad on right. Amazing how many cases we are getting. I wonder if this is happening to all the Sideshow figures that were rushed to make a buck. This, in my opinion, is very damaging to Hot Toys. This and Indiana Jones are two big negatives.

I also have to take pics of the boot. I can live with the off-centered knee pad because my head and suit are fine (at least at first glance) and do not want to take the risk to send the whole figure back and get something else. Hopefully we can all get our replacement boots.

I am curious to see how many calls SSC is getting regarding this.

Let's all take our boot pics and post them here, hehe.

Yeah getting two - they tried to deliver to my cousin yesterday but she wasn't home

Hopefully today.. and then I have to walk her through how to check the damn thing. A big joke.
