I wish it were that easy. I just really hope I can score a new Bats body in the next week or so. This was the first figure I purchased from SS, and while I understand they're not 100% at fault, it's kind of upsetting.

What is wrong with yours?:(

It should be that easy. I don't know your details, but in this case HT should flip the bill for the temp agency. Maybe i should have put more anger towards them in my rant...

This is the most ____ed up email i have.....EVER READ!!! Destroy the figure yourself? Seriously?:lol Just so ____ing lame.:slap

Here is an idea SIDESHOW, send the guy a prepaid envelope and YOU destroy the ____ing figure. This is NOT your customers job!!!!!!

If i had to destroy my figure by bashing it into pieces, I don't think i would be able to ever look at the figure the same way again, fixed or not. The bashing would cause a irreversible psychological damaged mindset.:cuckoo:

I agree this is so wrong and amateur like, they should indeed send a prepaid parcel and see the flaw for themselves, then they know where they went wrong and can fix it for the future.

This is their standard practice.

And I can safely say I'd rather spend three minutes to bash the figure and take some pictures, than have to go to the post office to return it.

:exactly: They're addressing the problem and sending out replacement parts. People should look at this as the glass half full not half empty. People are just so hard to please anymore.

Hire people to break your broken parts :cuckoo:

It's the first time I hear about this practice :cuckoo:

My suit is Harvey Dented. :monkey2

And I actually work for the call center, not the phone company(client). The client hires the call center to hire us, and only approves a certain number of FTEs(full time employees) to be paid at any given time. So unless the client decides they want to shell out more cash, the higher-ups at the call center can't hire anymore people. It's unfortunate, and it sucks sometimes, but business is business.

This is their standard practice.

That's cool that this is standard practice. It streamlines everything. And yeah, I was pretty pissed today when I saw it, even though I expected it. The fact that the SS website wouldn't load and I only had 30 minutes before work only worsened it all. Bashing the crap out of this thing will be therapeutic.

Could somebody please point out exactly what this dent looks like? I'm confused about it. Would this figure be considered dented?

Got mine. Looks undamaged! Pics coming soon

Vortex your pics look great! I don't think your bats is dented...

That's not my bats. I got a chuckle out of "I don't think your bats is dented" though because of the "I don't think" part.:lol

All of the bat pictures i have saved seem to indent more in the ab area on the figure's right side over the left. Hence the confusion..

^Did you notice the area on that side is deeper than the other side? It is like that on every photo i have saved. Mine is even like that.

It's actually a lot of fun destroying a defective piece. I knew that I should've saved the pics from when I had to take a sledge hammer to my Cyclops PF...

I'd just hope my figures aren't alive like in Toy Story. I'd hate to be a defective Buzz Lightyear sent out by Sideshow!

Wow. Amazing poses! Gotta put mine like that. This guy is HUGE compared to the V1 TDK. Almost like they're not even the same character.

On my TDK shelf I have Batman in the middle front with Two-Face and Joker on either side near the back. But since this guy's so big, on my BB shelf I think I'll have him near the back in the middle with Scarecrow and Ra's on either side near the front. He's obstructing my view to them. Especially in any pose that's not just standing.

Love this guy! So happy to have him. Really hoping HT releases a Bruce suit pack for TDKR for this new head sculpt like they did for Tony Stark a couple years back.

Do you think that most of the people who are not complaining are employees of Sideshow? Or were they just lucky?
