Man I am loving this figure, despite the articulation problems and the loose boot. The most simple poses look freakin epic. At the moment I have his arms spread 30 degrees holding the capes apart as if ready for a large drop.

Hope everyone else is enjoying theirs cause despite the flaws, this figure is brilliant.

You talking about the stern face plate of the figure in general when you say "sculpt".

I don't know... after I saw your pictures I've visited ebay and looked for that headsculpt and they just looked to me in some way better in overall as the old sculpt. Especially at the eye area. Maybe it's just the paint, or just the shots that make it look different, but after your pics i do like the new head better then the old one :p

I personally believe dogs belong outside, if it had been one of mine that did that I would have been tempted to give it a bullet to chew on.

I can't believe what has happened. Was changing out the cape with lforigno cape and before getting done with the change, my daughter came into my home office to get help with math homework. She put her book on my desk and it must have knocked the batman head onto the floor. When I finished helping her, I couldn't find the head and noticed our little shih Tzu was in the corner having a batman snack.:thud::horror:thud: It was all I could do to not hurl the dog across the room:panic:

Good god! :horror

I admire your anger control right there :wink1:

..and at first, I thought it's another QC issue from SS; w/c from the looks of it, is far becoming worst & worst . :rotfl

Has anyone else had problems putting on the belt and cape? I've spent an hour just trying to get the belt to stay on, but I've had no luck so far :/

For the belt:
Stick the tip of one of these:

into the belt fastener holes. Gently spin it around to evenly widen the holes. Take only a little bit off at a time and keep rechecking to see if it's easy to click the belt into place, but not loose. It will only take a few minutes to do all 6 holes.

I've done this to all of my HT Batman belts. They all hold tight, but they all can easily be taken on and off now.

I agree - it's so great it overcomes it's needless QC flaws- the figure itself in look and posability is outstanding!!!

Poseability outstanding? While I like the figure much, I think it really lacks in that compartment. The limbs move all right, but the rubber suit detains some poses, and they don't even have to be too 'spectacular'. And if you get the figure to stand in a somewhat dynamic pose, the form of the suit on the joints looks unnatural. Posing the figure like on the promo pictures for instance doesn't look as good in reality.
The figure actually only looks really good when it's in a neutral pose - waiting for the bus. I haven't seen too many photos of this figure in natural action poses on the net, and I think I know the reason.
I wish the joints would be stiffer. That wouldn't solve the problem of the unnatural looking suit/joints, but the figure would at least hold the pose. I guess, the cool looking suit just has it's price.
