I am really looking forward to getting it. I also have Indy coming on Oct. 18th, but I have to leave the US because one of my family members in the Netherlands has fillen really ill, and I'll be out of the country from Oct. 7th till the 23rd.

Actually, do you think SS might be willing to delay the shipping of both Bats and Indy until I get back? Anyone been through something similar?

and in a few weeks, the supply will more than meet the demand. don't buy it due to what it is going for, buy it because it is a cool figure that you will enjoy.

A person cancels for various reasons, one could be its not worth the $225 price.

I guess you're saying it'll cost more to pick it up later, but if you're only buying cos its expensive afterwords then whats the point, other than flipping (and there'll be plenty of them which will drive the cost down)

Yeah I saw it on their site a while back but they wanted $324.99 for it. It's sold-out so I guess someone didn't mind paying $100 more than sideshow.

Is this really soon becoming a much desired and pricey figure? I'm wondering why those who are still out in the cold don't chill till spooktacular or are those pretty much sold out due to the waitlist?
Funny practically everyone, myself included, was clamoring over the priority preorder event and it took like, what, 8-9 hours to sell out?
I wasn't even sure I wanted to keep my preorder but, hell, might as well.

Do you think so? I mean they made a crap load of Joker and Batman DX's and they are a pretty penny now. I dunno, what was those things going for 6 months after release or so? Does anyone remember?

I could be wrong, but if you read last weeks newsletter it says processing begins on the 10th, but that they won't begin shipping until the 24th.

So that could mean they might charge your card anywhere between the 10th and 23rd.

Argh! Running into complications with Sideshow's alternate shipping address form... The Billing address to new apartment isnt listed anywhere else other than my CC statement which wont come before the 5th, sideshow order updation deadline is on 10th! Postal Services closed in state for Durga Puja till 6th! Oh Man this is like a nerve wracking race against time!

Ive requested Sideshow though to accept the form, and other id's that I can send at the moment, But that billing address proof is playing spolsport!

Pray for me guys, I dont wanna lose this order on such a trivial issue. (Worst case I ship to my billing address and the FedEx chaps have a torrid time trying to find me their when delivering on week days)

Yup that's the statement I was reffering to. I'm flexpaying so I'm not sure how this will work for the regular orders.

I did talk to SS about this last week, but in regards to flexpay. She said they might have Batman in on the 10th and if so they would begin shipping then.

However that statement makes it sound like he will only be shipped on the 24th as was their original plan.

ah i see. strange, I looked up "hot toys" on their website just last week and didn't see it. must've just scrolled right past it

not that it matters though, as I've order mine straight from SS
