What does that have to do with canceling :dunno

A person cancels for various reasons, one could be its not worth the $225 price.

I guess you're saying it'll cost more to pick it up later, but if you're only buying cos its expensive afterwords then whats the point, other than flipping (and there'll be plenty of them which will drive the cost down)

Yea this thing is going to tank, if you are worried about the value you might as well sell while the heat is on.

Ok I know I'm crazy and am gonna get slammed but is SS the only place to get this figure? I need one but of course missed the pre order.

That, and eBay.

But just hop on the waitlist. I'm sure you'll get it, as a lot of people are cancelling due to some pics of the rubber being damaged:lol

Argh! Running into complications with Sideshow's alternate shipping address form... The Billing address to new apartment isnt listed anywhere else other than my CC statement which wont come before the 5th, sideshow order updation deadline is on 10th! Postal Services closed in state for Durga Puja till 6th! Oh Man this is like a nerve wracking race against time!

Ive requested Sideshow though to accept the form, and other id's that I can send at the moment, But that billing address proof is playing spolsport!

Pray for me guys, I dont wanna lose this order on such a trivial issue. (Worst case I ship to my billing address and the FedEx chaps have a torrid time trying to find me their when delivering on week days)

Sideshow is pretty good about working with people. Give them a call or pop on over to their customer service chat at their website, and maybe they can put a hold on your order till you provide the updated address. 5 days sounds like a pretty good window to me already though, so I bet you'll be fine. Good luck!

Is this a joke? This figure is going to double in value in a couple months, people are already buying off eBay for 350 to 400.

What is the history of HT's releases like these and their value in a few years? I'd look to the last Batman Begins HT's figure. Did it appreciate a lot?

To the point that Hot Toys felt they could make money off all the poor folks who missed it the last time around. Yeah buddy it went up in price! Anyone who refused to pay those outrageously high prices these past couple years are picking it up this time around. And don't think because so many people HERE are canceling doesn't mean there are people on the wait list that won't be happy with it. I don't see these flooding the market at all. I think it will bring down the price of OC Batman for a while but eventually both will gradually climb back up in value as the demand for them increases again.

Not below retail but below what the max is that everyone is willing to drop while it's being sold out temporarily.

Ok. I wasnt sure if you were saying the supposed QC issues this thing has was going to seriously hurt its value. How about Xmas time? This thing might spike up then, huh?

But what's the long term? Have any 1/6th's ever gotten to the 1,000 dollar mark (not talking about whatever one wants to try to sell them for on Ebay)?

:lecture:lecture:lecture:exactly: Plus, this has the headsclupt everybody's already pandering for. Even the recasts are fetching decent change.

I think the headsculpt alone is going for nearly 50-60% of the figures value on Ebay. But just because something is listed at X amount on Ebay doesn't mean it's selling. Also, with buyers identities hidden often, there's no way to know if someone isn't trying to artificially inflate something.

Saddest thing In my 2 years of collecting... Sideshow Informs me NOW that the credit card company they use doesnt accept credit card payments from India... all this after SO LONG, now the only way I can get it is if I can make an international money order and make sure it reaches to them by the 10th of the next month... which is impossible as due to the festival banks and postal services will be closed in my state from 1st to 6th

Im really saddened to do this, but can any member help me out here? Ill buy it off you guys IF anyones getting two please help guys!
